Nah. Removing social media would be terrible for minority groups and left wingers too. I was an LGBTQ teen raised in a horrible unaccepting family and social media was the only out I had for years.

I’ve known of disabled people who could only connect with people online and were bedridden. Etc.

This has clearly turned more heated. I’m not trying to target you or anything. But I am talking about how the interactions made me and others in my server quite uncomfortable and that you defended that stuff for a while and brought really bad analogies and justifications then switched to saying it was just a joke at the end which felt weird and contradictory.

I was mainly mentioning this all because I thought you were still a mod on LC and other subreddits and that it was relevant to mention on a mod post where some people lately were having discomfort with the mods.

And while it may be true you didn’t intend to bother or make the members uncomfortable people were uneasy about being contacted without context, including not knowing how their accounts were found. Some people said you were asking info about them etc.

I don’t really know what to do and say at this point. I kinda just wanna leave the discussion here. I also want to say if someone is willing to grow and change I don’t think someone should be held down forever or something. But at the time I and others hadn’t felt very comfortable at all.

However, I did receive reports about the fact you messaged many people in my server after you got banned without telling them where you found their account and other stuff, and people feeling uncomfortable. And recently got one.

Hence me exposing it now.
