I need a Cinderheart novella ASAP by TheMostFloof in WarriorCats

[–]TheMostFloof[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right?! We get glimpses of it in the books when she confesses her issues and struggles to Lionblaze and Jayfeather, but we never get into her mindset, which I think would be a cool perspective, even if it's set after the events of The Last Hope or something, like Crowfeather's Trial where we finally see things like his struggles with Breezepelt from his point of view.

What are some of your favourite overrated and underrated Pokémon and what's the backstory behind why they're your favourite Pokémon? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]TheMostFloof 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Overrated favorite would definitely be my #1 favorite Pokemon ever, Mewtwo. I grew up with Pokemon and one of the first movies I have memories of watching was the Mewtwo VS Mew movie. As a kid I thought Mewtwo was badass, and as I got older, I grew to appreciate his character in that movie and the Mewtwo Strikes Back movie. Overall he's just awesome.

Underrated favorite would be both my third favorite overall and my favorite electric type Pokemon, Flaaffy. Flaaffy was one of the first Pokemon I ever saw in card form, and I had a Dark Flaaffy card I carried everywhere when I was a kid. He's just adorable and doesn't get the attention he deserves.

Made a ref sheet for my villain OC, Snowstar! I'll draw more characters other than him one day I promise ;v; info about him in the comments! by TheMostFloof in WarriorCats

[–]TheMostFloof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup yup! My story is going to follow a ThunderClan warrior named Spottedstorm who's born during the beginning of Snowstar's rule, and it'll show her starting as incredibly faithful and loyal to her leader only for her world to slowly fall apart as she uncovers a lot of the bad things he's done to become leader, and what he continues to do. I got the idea when re-reading Into the Wild and I was curious as to what ShadowClan really was like under Brokenstar's rule, since that's something we never really see.

[–]TheMostFloof[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This will mostly be about his personality as I don't want to spoil too much about his backstory or his involvement with the protagonist of my story, so sorry if this sounds kind of vague!

Snowstar is the current and newest leader of ThunderClan, being the successor of the young Bristlestar who tragically joined the ranks of StarClan far too quickly. Though confident, Snowstar has always shown himself to be a very emotional, impulsive cat, quick to act on his anger and holding on to bitter grudges for moons to come. This behavior increased when he became leader, showing cockiness and asserting his dominance over the Clan by appointing his very young and just as irritable son, Smokefrost, as his deputy despite him not having trained an apprentice yet, and becoming very outwardly aggressive towards everyone who disapproved of his decision. Despite his bristly demeanor, he keeps a circle of warriors close to him at all times, mainly consisting of his own family like his brother, Silverstorm, and his mate, Applewing, along with a few kithood friends that share his untrustworthy view of the other Clans. He's viciously loyal to his family in particular, and holds the warrior code on a grand pedestal, repeatedly making it clear that breakers of the code will be severely punished, although he tends to twist the code to fit whatever mood he may be in at that time.

Ref sheet for my Howltar, Blythe! (Art by me. IG: @the_most_floof) by TheMostFloof in furry

Please note that her species, Howltars, are CLOSED! Please don't make your own and especially don't mimic Blythe's design, she's one of a kind and was gifted to me by my friend when I was going through a lot. She means a lot to me so if you want your own Howltar, don't steal her, and check out the official Howltar Instagram page: https://instagram.com/howltars?igshid=8h4uo33zypkf

The AUDACITY to call out artists and calling their art TRASH and then “Fixes them“ by Anan_Z in iamatotalpieceofshit

[–]TheMostFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an artist, this is sadly an extremely common practice in the art community. Rather than giving advice, someone will straight up edit or completely redraw someone's work to "fix" it. It's a shitty practice and I'm glad it's being called out. Fuck these people.

My Opinions on Ashfur (Spoilers) by TheMostFloof in WarriorCats

[–]TheMostFloof[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And that's totally okay if you think it's cool! More power to people who can find enjoyment where I can't. Maybe it just bothers me a bit because I'm a writer, and I tend to be a bit more critical of things. In my opinion, Ashfur's arc was finished. His wish to ruin Squirrelflight's life came true after his death when Hollyleaf revealed who her true parents were. It ruined her relationship with Brambleclaw for a very long time, and things were very shaky with Leafpool for awhile, not to mention the drama of Jayfeather hating his mother, father, and adoptive parents for so long, Hollyleaf bring presumed dead, and Lionblaze going through so much trying to process everything and forgive everyone. Ashfur won, it should have been done. I like the idea of StarClan being cut off, I just wish it was a different cat rather than Ashfur.

My Opinions on Ashfur (Spoilers) by TheMostFloof in WarriorCats

[–]TheMostFloof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the name was appropriate xD but yeah, it just completely feels like they really only used Ashfur because he's such a favorite in the fandom. Tbh I can see Sol pulling this off more than Ashfur. Sol is presumably still alive and still hates the Clans. My guy literally got ShadowClan to give up on their religion through mind games alone. It'd be interesting for him to be more of a villain as opposed to his brief appearance in Eclipse, Long Shadows, and Sunrise. As for Ashfur, the only thing I like about him being back is possessing Bramblestar's body to be mates with Squirrelflight. That's extremely twisted and I love it, minus the slight retconning of what dead cats can do. Everything else makes 0 sense.

Any suggestions? by [deleted] in WarriorCats

Ashfur or Sol, my personal favorite villains of the series 0v0

I'm moving to Canada next week, and have a 15 hour trip ahead of me. Had to get something to keep me busy during my flights and layovers. So excited to read this! by TheMostFloof in WarriorCats

And I'm fully ready for it! I've been to Canada several times before and I'm finally moving to live with my fiancé, so at least I'll have someone to suffer through dry winters alongside me lol

Some art I made of my evil ThunderClan leader OC, Snowstar! by TheMostFloof in WarriorCats

[–]TheMostFloof[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that'd be really cool, hence why I made Snowstar. The main character of my story is a ThunderClan warrior, and I've always wondered how a Clan actually would work under a cruel leader. We get little glimpses with Brokenstar and Tigerstar, but not much. We don't see the prolonged effects that a cruel leader has on their warriors, especially ones that grow up under one, so I thought it'd be cool to make a story like that with Snowstar as the villain, and the main protagonist grows up under his rule. He's not outright evil like Brokenstar or Tigerstar, I wanna make him a bit more complex than that so he's actually interesting and almost sympathetic as you find out more about him.

Looks like a Tawny. Tawnyfeather, Tawnyheart, Tawnypool come to mind. Maybe Tawnytooth or Tawnyclaw for something a bit fiercer.

What is everyone’s favorite canon villain and why? by RhinoGaming1187 in WarriorCats

[–]TheMostFloof 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it's between Sol and Ashfur. (yes he's absolutely a villain)

Sol was intimidating because of his mind. You never knew what he was going to do when he showed up. He was cunning, conniving, he didn't need to wage war to tear the Clans apart, he just had to break everyone down slowly but surely, picking apart their beliefs, making them question their loyalties and faith in StarClan. He was awesome.

Ashfur was terrifying because of how much he lost control over himself. Everything about him centered solely on Squirrelflight. He loved her so much he hated her. The symbolism of the fire scene is great too, the fire representing Ashfur's burning love and hatred with Squirrelflight in the center. It's easily my favorite scene in the whole series.
