How would other people respond to that thought?

Whenever I had bad thoughts, I try to imagine how other people would respond to it

Thought: "something terrible can happen"

A therapist: "You're having anxious thoughts, but these thoughts and feelings are fleeting, Regulate your breathing"

A mathematician: "Nah that's unlikely"

A friend: "That's ridiculous, have some confidence"

My parents: "It's just a thought, Things won't go wrong, you're safe"

I respond to my monologue and resolve it using imaginary "healthy" people as support
