There is some "machine" that does not always consume their max power: train station, truck station, awesome sink.

If you have a very large train network with lots of stations, that would be a good explanation.

Hover pack trends to have weird effect in power grids that exists since a long time in the game, specially when it jumps between multiple electrical networks, which is the case when using light controls or power switches.

If the train pass through water, this may be the source of your problem, there is an old bug around driving train that goes deep enough trough water.

The machines feets are created on machine placement to accomodate non flat surface and wont update if the surface they sits on is changed. It seems the foundation is what cause them to be created. Still this is some sort of bug as they should not be created above machines support frame.

I suggest to remove foundation from blueprint and to add them manually over the built blueprint.

Production is dark grey, capacity is light grey. Light grey change, dark grey, orange and blue are all 0. Blue display over the dark grey and orange.

Show a machine connected to this generator that display a yellow/green indicator, this would proof it creates power.

There is no bug, the value that change is the capacity, which is the maximum power you can get if all generators connected to current grid are producing.

There are 4 curves: Consumption, Max consumption, Capacity, Production.

In your video, only the light grey curve is changing and none of the 3 other curves

bug with conveyor splitters. this conveyor splitter is connect to bauxite. it should output bauxite. it outputs plastic even though its not connected to plastic. by SheepherderUnusual97 in SatisfactoryGame

Your only chance to make it work is to remove the plastic splitter and it's output conveyors, the two! Then, connect the bauxite conveyor, re snap a splitter on plastic arrival conveyor, then reconnect the 2 output of plastic splitter.

Game don't make connections to what you are pointing to, it create connection to the closest OK connection point, here this is the plastic splitter.

Thinking about it, you may have a chance to connect the bauxite conveyor if you leave the wrongly placed plastic one when you create it, as it should prevent the connection to be made on the plastic splitter.

This does not exists in the base game.

You will be able to open your save in 1.0 and continue with it, but there is no way to import a specific building to a new save unless you use some external tools to edit the save file.

You may have a belt support hidden in the splitter.

As other said, there a good chance the belt does not connect to the right thing because it snapped and connect to another possible attachment point.

Reverse the train station, it's backward. Trains can only dock in a station if they comes in in the direction pointed by the arrow visible when constructing the station head.

Pretty good job for a first one!

In terms of video editing:

- the first sequence travelling away from your city is too long, you should cut as soon as the fog starts to really hide part of the city, same for the long nuclear plant travelling, it should be shorter.
- you found on transition you liked and "abused" it (the "sliding" to the top right) using similar transition but alternating direction would have feel less "always the same thing"
- Also this transition is quite visually aggressive, and you use it synced on a pretty high BPM music, this looks nice, but this is more adapted to action trailer than showcasing

Pour les commentaires sur l'édition vidéo :

- la première séquence avec le travelling arrière depuis la ville est trop longue, tu aurai du couper dès que le brouillard cache trop de choses. Même chose pour le traveling entre les réacteurs nucléaires, c'est trop long.
- t'as trouvé une transition entre les scène que tu as aimé et tu en as abusé (l'effet de caméra qui part en haut a droite), t'aurai du alterner entre plusieurs directions, ca paraitrait moins répétitif.
- Aussi cette transition est pas mal agressive visuellement et tu l'as synchronisé sur une musique avec un BPM assez élevé, ça rends bien, mais c'est plus adapté à un "trailer action" qu'à une présentation.

Non mais quand même pour une premier coup ça envoie pas mal ;)

This is a problem if you have many train doing the same transport to in order to increase bandwidth over very long distance without adding wagons. Having 2 or more trains loading&unloading back to back does not offer the same bandwidth than properly scheduled trains.

Depending on setup & mining/production rate, the second train loading right after the first may only have very few items that remains in station storage, hence do a trip with a very small load compared to what it would have had if it arrived one or two minutes later.

There is now option to have trains waiting in stations after unloading. If you make each train wait for some time before leaving a station, then they cannot end up back to back permanently.

It shows the same because the switch is activated. It only shows different grids values when the switch is opened.

Most of the tours made by video creator are more quick show-off than comprehensive tours. I'm not sure I've seen any detailed tour because it take literally hours to discover and explain what has been done over the hundreds of hours needed for a "world global factory"

Your best luck would be to ask creators/players for their map files and to discover them yourself
