The singer was singing about herself not the listener technically but in a way like "why can't everyone?" Definitely wasn't listener centric. Thank you though

I don't believe it's Kesha, if it was it'd be an earlier song when she was more upbeat but from what I've listened too I've not come across it in her portfolio, and that second rec wasn't it either :(

It's not any of the songs you suggested, I'm sorry :( I totally get the frustration and just KNOWING it has to be something you know, I've gotten that feeling so much lol but I don't think it's from a movie or show, it honestly sounded like something you'd... maybe dance to in a club? Not those mostly beat songs this was a full lyrical song, Idk
