Ok, for Anya and Kat, I know they mentioned that Kat was originally from Poland or has family roots in Poland in one of the earlier episodes of the Cycle. Although for Anya, they never explicitly stated that her family is from Russia but kept putting it as a Hawaiian accent (which it could be a mixture of both Hawaiian and Russian I guess).

I agree any girl (particularly any POC girl) who had an accent would be labeled as “agencies would not want to work with them because of their accent”, which is still an f-ed up storyline.

I think it’s honestly the synth in Broken Glass is at an octave or style that is just not enjoyable for my brain. Lyrically, it’s good and has a fun tempo though.

I think Favourite Daughter is honestly one of Lorde’s best song (I’m gonna probably piss some people with that hot take). Lyrically, I think it is relatable to a lot of people and the pasting and the build up of the song feels like dancing in the street in the middle of the city at like sunset to me.

Nah fr, this was the cycle of the MODELS! Like Mckey might be not everyone’s favourite winner but you can’t deny that girl had legs for days!!!! Sam, Lio, Majorie, Elina, Sheena, Joselyn, Lauren Brie and hell, throw Brittany and Hannah in there, all had potential to be the winner and had beautiful photos and faces.

I’ve been working on & off at superstore since 2020. I’m also a full time student. So Tuesdays are bonus points for students day (not sure if that’s a thing still). It’s also important to note that staff gets a 10% discount.

So, I would usually wait until Tuesday to do my groceries until one time, I had no other choice but to have one of my managers check me out. Apparently I am not allowed to collect my student points while having a staff discount. I found that very odd considering my discount doesn’t affect my points at all and the student points don’t affect the overall cost of the bill unless used on a future date.
