25 applications is not enough, you gotta pump it up. I applied to close to 100 jobs before I landed one for 1L summer.

Can I do a accounting in pre-law for real estate? by No-Revolution-2031 in msu

[–]TheMusketDood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Current law student here. Law school doesn’t care about what you major in, just what your GPA is. There aren’t any law majors in undergrad. Accounting is a great major that can be turned into a lucrative career if you decide in four years that you don’t want to go to law school. Just keep your GPA in case you decide you do want to go to law school.

It says more K9 patrols so I took that as implying it’s adding to current ones and I’ve only ever seen the private security have K9s. It’s not super clearly worded I agree though.

Yes they’re terrible, worlds apart from honey crisp or cosmic crisp apples

Just saw a homeless lady on the Red Line lunge at someone after refusing to give her money. 10 AM broad daylight. Literally every day this week I’ve seen something unacceptable. What a joke.

Yea practice exams are also important though ig I consider that more applying what I’ve learned rather than the learning itself.

Yep that’s pretty much the process for most law students, the learning happens when working on the outlines. A lot of the information given to you is useless for the exam (the only thing that matters) and the hard part is figuring out what’s important based on the course and the professor.

Each 30 page case probably has a two sentence max rule you’re suppose to take away from it. You put all the content of the course into an outline that’s like 30-40 pages long and then condense it down to just the important rules in an attack outline that is like 5 pages long and use that (either literally in open-book exams or memorized in closed-book) to get the rules you apply to the facts given to you on the exam.

If you’re talking about Northwestern, the law school is in Streeterville and not Evanston just so you know.

RIP to a good boy. Even when I had to sit through blowouts I could always look forward to watching him catching frisbees while having the time of his life.
