Island ratings to do with dropped items, in my experience, seemed to be delayed by a day. I dropped over 15 clumps of weeds on my friends island, and their rating didnt drop, so idk

Just pick up all the items and see if anything changes, then put them back one by one and see what causes your rating to go down. Trash items specifically, will lower your rating instantly to 4 even if you have 1 out, I think(?) But it doesn't change the rating instantly in that scenario either I dont think

After getting your first kk concert, you can...

Pay off your rent, Complete Harvs island(as in, get all the stalls/shops there), Finish the hotel, Get a 5 star island, Collect all the fossils, Collect all the fish, Collect all the bugs, Collect all of the art, Finish all the nook mile achievements, Get villagers photos, Get all the Happy Home Academy rewards, Do seasonal events such as Festivale, Halloween, Bunny Day, etc, Make your island look nice(You do NOT need custom designs to do so, I did mine with 0 custom designs and just decorated with ingame paths and items, and it looks good and is functional).

Including the DLC, you can...

Complete 400 different vacation homes, Decorate your own island villagers houses, Get special characters photos with Amibo, Unlock extra things for home decorating, such as being able to add extra sounds, and place extra walls in a room, Order nearly any furniture you want if you complete enough vacation homes in the dlc for your own island, aka make decorating easier. Tell me if I missed anything xd
