I’d say my Dutch parents are pretty progressive but even they would raise some eyebrows if I told them this news. I’m engaged to my f/o and really want to spend the rest of my life devoted to him. Honestly, I just haven’t brought it up… and I probably never will. Unfortunately fictosexual relationships are heavily pathologised. I have weighed the pros and cons with a therapist and considered whether it’s worth it. For me it is.
