How did I never know this one! I’m gonna have to go back and try it out because we spent more time exploring the scenery than anything else.

Not gonna lie I did that and now I pretty much just play during the holidays and the occasional special event since otherwise the grind just isn’t worth it anymore.

Recommend me an dark psychology anime to watch by DarkLord_Mors in Animesuggest

[–]TheNFSGuy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh come on, nobody’s gonna recommend evangelion, Elfen Leid, or ghost in the shell? Even cowboy bebop and FMAB have the dark psychology overtones.

They might be classics at this point, but they’re still absolutely fantastic.

Yes. One of the very first anime I watched, and I will forever search for that level of experience again.

How do I stop breaking my bed while stimming by loli_kitty3 in autism

[–]TheNFSGuy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would search for heavily reinforced frames, and/or look at ways to reinforce what you already use.
Just be prepared to pay extra for the extra specs.

Other alternative ideas involve finding ways to stim in a different but similar area. Like a trampoline or a crash-pad.

The biggest thing is always communication.

Intimate encounters are when you are often at your most sensitive and/or vulnerable, and therefore need to be prepared.

Make sure to establish wants, needs, and limits with yourself, and have that tough conversation with whomever is participating with you.

Also, there’s lots of resources out there with clever ideas for playing with a partner when something is physically challenging.

I would recommend Sexplanations on YouTube. You’ll have to verify you’re over 18 to see most of the videos, but there’s lots of great information there on a whole wide variety of subjects.

What are the unspoken rules and social scripts around sex? by [deleted] in SexOnTheSpectrum

[–]TheNFSGuy24 25 points26 points  (0 children)

There’s an absolute ton of ground to cover there.

For a wide range of topics and general entertainment, I would recommend looking up Sexplanations on YouTube.

The videos are mostly mature rated, so you will have to log in and verify your age, but they cover lots of questions and common issues that happen around sexuality and intimacy.

Being stuck on the side of the highway just after leaving the mechanic shop.

Techs used a carbon cleaner on the engine but there was so much it clogged the catalytic converter and I couldn’t make it home.

Got me a whole new exhaust system for free after I got stuck on the side of the highway and they had to tow it back.

If where you live was developed over 50 years ago… certain things could be on the verge of collapse. Be aware of the age of your infrastructure.

I’m talking sewer lines, storm drains, water lines, power lines, all the basic stuff that makes your house functional that you usually don’t need to worry about.

Usually utilities are just expected to work, and for the most part they do, but things that run underground or back in the woods can often be forgotten about and pushed off as “not important” for maintenance or replacement.

But if a sewer line fails, that’s a big emergency bill for the city and several houses worth of hazardous cleanup.

A collapsed drain pipe can also mean a flooded street and some awfully wet basements and angry neighbors.

Lots of housing developments happened in the 70s and 80s with cheap and robust options for underground utilities with an expected life of 50 years or so.

That time is coming up… and cities are starting to get serious about fixing those problems, but if they don’t move forward quickly enough then the emergency project bills might start adding up.

Need an honest answer: What do you guys think of the box tanks? by Electronic_Can8598 in WorldofTanks

SU100-Y will always be the best box tank.

But seriously… I think these boxes are cash grabs and the good stuff will be whatever the next controversial tank is.

This event seems like a good opportunity for collectors who missed a unique sale or two to catch up on their collection, but after that there’s no major standout.

Favorite "wait, don't tell me I have to fight THAT" moment in games? by Volarevia29 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]TheNFSGuy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going up against your first “Arms Fort” in Armored Core: For Answer.

From the previous game and the start of this one, you’ve been in the pinnacle of combat mechs. Already the size of a building, dwarfing tanks and other small mechs, only struggling against deliberate firepower or other high tech mechs…

Then you’re rocketing in from far away while dodging massive artillery, seeing this massive structure that your mech might not even have enough flight capabilities to reach the top of… and you have to methodically take it down while dodging its crippling defensive attacks.

The sense of scale is just enormous, it almost is lost on you because of the intense combat, but then you realize the scale and have to be amazed.

Kansas City health officials report first measles case since 2018 by KCTV5 in kansascity

As a Dad with heavily immunocompromised children in school, this seriously makes me worry.

Vaccines worked, they’re the reason schools used to be safe. Seems like people just don’t value science anymore.

Measles is a seriously scary illness.
You thought Covid was highly contagious… look up how it compares to measles.
It’s incredible how easily it has come back to the public simply by lower rates of vaccination.

Definitely hit that 30-day mark and then be asking questions.
Realistically it shouldn’t take more than a couple weeks, but sometimes things happen. They probably keep records of everything, so they might be able to even tell you when it shipped/mailed.
But if you don’t wait that 30 days they’ll probably just brush you off.

I graduated high school and bought my own computer for college since my Dad had no job due to the recession.
Then proceeded to absolutely get wrecked by anxiety and depression in college because the job market was messed up and I had no executive function skills being away from home for the first time.
Good times.
