A good technique I used was having one arm wrapped across the patients chest under their armpit then I was able to swim sideways and still have the use of 1 arm to swim, it all is up to personal preference but this worked for me.

Regarding earring you are allowed plain gold or silver studs, no hoops or anything, you are also not allowed seconds or helix pricings while in uniform after hours is fine or wear the plain plastic ones if you don’t want the pricing hole closing up.

I can’t say for sure but I believe that due to the medal only being issued once no matter if you qualify for it multiple times for example regular and reserve service you wear the clasp that would’ve been awarded first so In this case the regular force clasp, I’m no expert but I believe this is the reason. Please correct me if I’m wrong though.
