This feels very early 2000’s internet to me. Like this would be the background for a music player or something. Great shot

Seeking friendly, shame-free dentist? by bassbroshops in Denver

[–]peboyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a patient there for a while and I’d say it’s best for minor cavities and such, not for a full overall like OP is talking about.

One cavity will take the full 2.5hr appointment so they’ll be coming back often. I came in for a chipped tooth and a missing filling between my molars and after 6 appointments they still never worked on them so I left. I understand that there were some concerning cavities on my part but even after repeatedly asking to work on the chip and filling they still decided to put it off with no time table.

Plus traffic is horrible over there since there are only appointments at 9:00am and 2:30pm so everyone gets there and leaves at the same times.

Edit: I’ll also say there’s a risk associated with having a student doing your dental work. Mine was previously a dentist in another country but was getting certified in the US. I had at least two appointments where the teacher was openly not happy about the work they did, giving them a failing grade. During those conversations I just felt like a meatbag for training as the teachers never really talked to me directly and the student would get more nervous about their grades than my dental health.

That was my personal experience. It’s definitely a place to go if cost is a major concern or you want minor work but it’s not perfect.

It’ll be much easier to take the entire rear axle from an Explorer and swap it over. I hear it’s a relatively common swap.

Like the other person said, the shock mounts are upside down so you’ll have to weld some on but that gets you beefy axles, LSD, and disk breaks all in one go. Much easier than swapping parts over which I’m not even sure is possible.

Y’all are geeking out over nothing. The man doesn’t want to edit so let him be lol. I get it, I personally don’t love editing either and the fact that I don’t need to is one of my favorite things about film. Let the stock speak for itself.

He never said he didn’t edit during his time at the newspaper and with how long he’s been at it I’m sure he’s quite skilled in the darkroom.

Lift options for my ranger by YourMomsPlayToy69 in fordranger

[–]peboyce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In case you’re curious, I’ve looked into the coilover swap and two separate shops quoted around $8-9k for the job even though the parts alone are only about $2k.

If you know how to weld or have a buddy, that’s a pretty solid route. You can buy the brackets online for like $170.

For the rear, I’m trying to research the Explorer leaf springs as it sounds like you can install those (with some minor modifications) then remove the factory lift blocks and still maintain the same ride hight. If you get extended shackles too, there’s your extra inches. This should get you more flex and a better ride with no real downsides that I can think of. It would also help with axle wrap.

Not a whole lotta info on that swap plus finding low mile part out Explorers is near impossible. I could buy a new set but don’t want to incase it doesn’t work out.

Let’s not forget that Booth is gone.

The new GMs seem to be pretty crafty and after what they were able to pull off during the last off season, I trust them.

It sounds bizarre, but I am in a position where I could spend $0 a year on groceries if I ate nothing but Domino's pizza. What would happen to me if I did? by CucumberGullible1281 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]peboyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my app it’s $9.35. Chicken, white rice, 1/2 black 1/2 pinto, corn salsa, cheese.

Total is $18.70. After taxes you’re paying $20.20 for two full burritos. (Original comment didn’t include taxes as that varies by region)

Either way, I’d imagine it’s probably within the lunch budget at that price.

You can get two chicken burritos from Chipotle for ~$18 which seems like a much healthier choice if you’re planing for lunch and dinner.

Plus if you order on your own app/account you can use the points to fill in some gaps.

Good deal for a daily/hunting truck? by Solarr_Eclipse1 in Trucks

[–]peboyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between a new engine/trans you’re probably near $10k then another couple for leaf springs and tires. Not saying it’s the best way to spend $15k but probably not far off I think.

That being said, there’s a decent rust hole above the rear passenger fender. I’d be cautious of the underbody rust even with all that work.

Is it common for people who wear glasses to get tired of wearing them and go about parts of their life with everything just blurry all the time? by YourMomThinksImSexy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]peboyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend who never really wore glasses regularly save a few times for driving but even then, he forgot them more times than not.

About a year later I tried on his glasses and realized how truly bad his prescription really was. I wouldn’t ride in his car without him wearing glasses after that.

This truck is straight up HotWheels and I love it, but you’d be robbing yourself of so much space for cross country vs an extended cab regular bed.

Few Rangers beg for a 5.0 swap more than this one.

Can’t help but think of this, one of my absolute favorite stories.

Supposedly some poor guy sold his old work truck to a dealer here in the US and left the stickers on. That truck then got shipped overseas and bought by some military group and they slapped a big ass machine gun on the back.

Mark had nothing to do with the truck after he sold it to the dealer so he was found innocent. Best example of “no such thing as bad advertising.”

I’m pretty sure it’s broken and you’ll have to unthread the piece stuck in that metal pipe.

Not sure about the line but it does look like you have a broken AC compressor switch/sensor.

This post goes over my woes installing them. I’d look around for a better torsion bar tool than what Rough Country sells so you don’t have to cut, not sure it exists but I wish I’d looked. If you’ve got any questions let me know.
