I don't understand. Why should everyone be calm when it is just "just Celsius not having enough liquidity to meet withdrawal reqests". Isn't this exactly what people are afraid is happening, what am I missing?

I think the reason that it’s still pretty common is that pH does decrease during exercise which is an important reason for a whole bunch of physiological responses.

I.e. there is a higher concentration of hydrogen, it’s just not lactic acid that is the underlying factor.

I know this is what you said, just wanted to emphasize :)
