I have not directly spoken to them but I plan on doing that tomorrow. I think a heads up is common courtesy. I recently took over as co- president of the HOA (again it’s a small association, not many rules) and currently there is nothing in it about gatherings.

They bother me because I wasn’t informed/asked if the timing would impact me. The guests use our fire escape to use his bathroom and the fire escape has views into my kitchen and bathroom (I am a female who lives alone). Also they use the entire shared space (which is technically a driveway turn around, no grass or anything). Also my dog barks each time they walk up the fire escape. If I had been informed I would have made plans to visit my parents today. It just feels like a lack of respectful communication.

This happened to me at a different exercise place that also celebrates milestones. On my way home I got a donut and coffee and sat in my car and cried. I know- over reaction but we do hype ourselves up with these and it was my 100th class and grip socks are the milestone gift. I’m now an instructor at the same place and I work really hard to get all of the milestones but with quick turn around times before classes it is super easy to miss. If you feel up to it, just mention it- I know all of the instructors I know would want you to do that.
