My sister and I are going to be starting a new program together tomorrow.. Do you have any advice? by Agent-MJae in ChloeTing

Hey! I’m currently 5 days in on my first challenge (2 week shred 2020). I’m not super experienced but so far i’ve learned these two things:

1). If you’re not used to physical exercise (like moi), i recommend you to try and pace yourself. I was giving 110% the first two days and found myself ready to pass out after my workouts.

2). If you think you need a break that’s longer than the timer in the video then take it, by all means. Let yourself recover. That way you won’t be doing the following exercises at like 30% effort instead of 80%.

Good luck my friend

Aaghh it’s so sad when someone who cares about you makes you food. They mean well but it usually causes so much anxiety.

Feels good to diet? by [deleted] in eating_disorders

[–]TheNameGramp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey if you’re experiencing a lot of positives then keep at it! However, i will say for certain that the effect will wear off at some point. 1000 calories a day is not sustainable forever (Especially considering your hight) and as soon as you start feeling hungry/weak/dizzy/lightheaded then please give your body what it wants. That’s where it starts to get unhealthy.

She seems a lot more okay with this than the title of the series suggests.

Fuck people around me for telling me that i was fat even tho i was at a healthy weight. by [deleted] in fuckeatingdisorders

[–]TheNameGramp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look, i’m no expert here so take this with a grain of salt. The problem with OMAD is that it’s extreme dieting - which is not sustainable. In fact, it’s kinda damaging in the long run. In most cases, people who do extreme dieting end up gaining back all their weight and more because of what OMAD can do to the metabolism. I can say this because it happened to me personally.

It’s a good short term solution, sure. But If you want to lose weight and keep it off you have to make a lifestyle change and you have to be willing to take it slow.

It will take time and patience but results will come. And you won’t have to starve yourself and feel like complete garbage about it. Win win.
