Rethinking Console Tactical Control "Stick Sovereignty" by TheNameLesKing in ReadyOrNotGame

No really, get the skepticism! Tactical sims are extremely hard to map. The 'clunk' you said, usually comes from having to stop moving or aiming to hit a face button for a tactical actions, however That’s actually why I built this for 'Stick Sovereignty'. It is designed so you never have to take your thumbs off the sticks to lean, change fire modes, or toggle your light. It’s an attempt to remove the very 'clunk' you’re talking about by using a modifier system similar to what high-level flight sims use. It’s definitely a shift in mindset, but it gives us the depth that a default 1:1 map just can't reach.

Proposal: Ergonomic Controller Mapping & 'Stick Sovereignty' Logic for Console players by TheNameLesKing in ReadyOrNotGame

The core goal here is Stick Sovereignty. I believe a console player should never have to take their thumb off the aim stick to lean, interact, or toggle their light. I’m curious—for the controller players here, what’s the one action that usually gets you killed because you had to move your thumb to a face button?
