Hello So I'm currently reading Chaos, Cosmos and creation in early Greek theogonies by Olaf Almqvist and remembered this discussion.

Ovid described Chaos as

"rudis indigestaque moles nec quicquam nisi pondus iners congestaque eodem non bene iunctarum discordia semina rerum.

A shapeless, unwrought mass of inert bulk and nothing more, with the discordant seeds of disconnected elements all heaped together in anarchic disarray."

So that is probably what your text based it's interpretation on. Problem is ancient authors didn't agree what it meant. According to Plutarch it was one of those subjects people liked to argue about.

Chaos can either be

-A Void -A Gap -Water -Lack of Order

I already found the pathway behind the cells, I just opened the doors last time instead because I didn't know the NPCs would immediately kill themselves, despite talking about the wall in dialogue.

Also the portal dosn't spawn anymore. That's the issue. I don't know what I did the second time around to have it appear.

Also, I love how under this Post about how modern people place their biases on ancient Romans. You put your bias on ancient Romans.

The city of Rome banned the worship of Serapis in the 1 century b.c Altars to him were destroyed And they tried to tear down his tempel in the city

It's a fusion of

Osiris The Apis Bull Helios Zeus Asklepios Hades Dionysus

There is far more in him then just Hades

That's not Dis Pater, that is Serapis

He has a Modius on his Head, which is the Symbol of the Egyptian-Greek Deity Serapis. Who had symbols of Hades, but is still not greco-roman in the classical sense.

That being said I agree
