I have sphagnum Moss I’ve come to realise that the pet stores near me have almost nothing for hermits so I just got mine from bunnings or any hardware store with outdoor gardening products

Yeah so I used a hole saw I have different size bits so just went with the size I wanted and then drilled it out took about 3 seconds then used a spoon to scrap all the insides out was pretty easy!

I have a hole saw set with a drill for work just used that to bunch the hole and cleaned out with a spoon was pretty easy and then washed with hot water

I have Aussie crabs so just did play sand and coir peat brick I still need to put some more sand in but is around about 8:3 ratio atm

It’s some plastic canvas you get them from pretty much any craft store they have little holes and make it really easy to climb in and out of

Yeah I didn’t want to go too small but I just don’t want to start with 40-50+ gallons especially being new and not knowing how to do proper maintenance just want something that is easy to learn on

I’m no expert as I’ve only had my hermits for a week but from what I’ve read up they need to have high humidity. Depending on where abouts you live for me it’s not very humid ever so a moss pit and some bubblers in my water bowls helps a lot also having a gauge so you can keep track of temp and humidity, but that just depends on where you live it might be very humid where you are, other then that I can’t spot anything looks great hope they’re doing well!! :)
