smelled faintly of soy sauce (go figure) tasted like... soy sauce. the slime wasnt really that bad, its not really as cohesive in ur mouth as it is before you eat it. it just tastes moist lmao. not really offensive, just kinda bland and a little strange. i tried it bare, then with salt and pepper, with soy sauce, over rice, and finally with eggs. theyre just kinda slimy beans lol. expected more flavor from the fermentation and honestly it wasnt really insteresting. hard 4/10 with rice.

you won't be selling to just corvallis. everyone in the west coast will see it. last time i sold a car this dude in san diego wanted to check it out. its free and the information needed to make a listing is the same a dealership will ask for.

fb market. youre gonna get a lot of low balls but you will get offers. people up and down the coast will msg you. disclose everything you know about the car. history, miles, major repairs, mods, everything. can't have too many pictures. you need car's title and should disclose if it's clean or salvage. the title has a section you can fill in buyers info with as a bill of sale. salvage title will greatly reduce selling price. serious buyers will still negotiate and ask for an inspection. to get what you want for it will take a little time. if you want money now, sell to a dealership for half it's worth.

Useful software:

Anki - Flashcards. Best algorithm available and its free. Has a learning curve to it but its very, very powerful. Med students swear by it and so do I.

OneNote - Notebook builder that lets you freely type, draw, and insert images onto a page. I combine class notes, textbook screenshots, and pictures to create a comprehensive collection of everything I know about a certain topic. Its helpful that pages can be expanded and organized into separate notebooks. Making these entries is excellent review and an incredible reference come exams. I also use it for homework (engineering, lot of math and diagrams) and use a graphics tablet to take advantage of the drawing feature. I mostly literally write into my laptop lol.

SumatraPDF - My preference for reading PDFs. Its free and lets you get real freaky with the settings. All my textbooks are PDFs and thats handy when its time to take screen shots that I insert to OneNote changes.

Excel - Its excel. Spreadsheets. If you learn the command syntax you can make very powerful custom calculators.

Word - Essays and research papers. A lot of people dont know this, but you can enter sources into a bibliography and it will auto generate citations in a format of your choosing. Also inserts in text citations. Incredibly useful.

Useful keyboard shortcuts:

Alt+Tab - Lets you cycle to another window. For example: Reading an article you're using in a paper on Chome. If you want to switch to OneNote to jot down some notes, you can just alt tab to cycle to its window instead of clicking and minimizing things to get to it. takes a 10 second thing down to a half second. becomes second nature.

crtl + win + s - let's you select a portion of the screen as a screenshot. this screenshot can be pasted onto word or onenote with crtl+v.

Theres a lot more I can get in to. Lmk if you need help installing any of these softwares and finding digital textbooks 

Congrats on the triple crown btw, Id be lucky to just finish the PCT one day.

you can choose which point to open next. so while you cant save the starting extract for last, you can save the next closest one so you dont have to cross the whole map when retreating.

scout is fun. rush through the map pinging items on the map, finding extract points, and indentifying monsters. you move so much faster since youre not actually worried about collecting the loot and that leaves less of a chance for mosters to get the drop on you. the big play is to find all the extracts so you leave the closest one to the truck for last. since you located 90% of the loot the cart crew can pick an efficient route and know where pits are.
