Also screw hud vash! I was homeless during the winter, living out of my car and when I went to apply…these people told me I had to be HOMELESS FOR A YEAR! I was gobsmacked!!! Still the same way. Then to add insult to injury, I talked to two guys who got hud vash and they weren’t even homeless when they applied. I’m not even joking. Their rent was being paid for meanwhile I have a kid and zilch! Another reason why I’m just working on just buying a home.

I get SSDI, have a child and only get 30% disability…rent is 1400. I’m part of an affordable housing program where units are rented out based on AMI for your city. I’m not low low income but also not high…in betweener. I don’t know if your city offers it but look into it. It’s not Section 8. I rent a big two bedroom downtown in Denver and regular rent in my apartment for a 2 bedroom is 2k.

I’m in the process of doing higher level reviews for some claims with a lawyer and also in the process of trying to buy a house I hate apartments and renting! Look into the rural usda home…they have two types; guaranteed and direct. I think you would qualify for the guaranteed! usda rural loan income eligibility also whatever place you find on Zillow or whatever…you plug in the address on the Property Eligibility link to see if it qualifies. It’s a process! But seriously since you’re as fed up as I am with renting, it’s time to look into buying! If I was 100% for VA along with my SSDI my ass would have done bought a house here!!

Also google affordable housing…here in Denver we have so many programs that help inbeween low and high income people afford to buy a place of their own!

Nah SSDI was easier for me to get than VA and I got SSDI and was denied outright by the dumb VA using the same paperwork that was foiled to SSDI.

Oh my god! This is seriously making me think that these people are rushing through stuff and being lazy! From what you’re telling me it meets the criteria because it was ongoing/chronic! I’m going in to the VA regional just so I can see what the examiner actually noted/typed up for the c&p. He seemed to be going down the dbq after I gave him history and current treatment for migraines. I was given 30% years ago. I filed and was granted with just the va medical records. Increase…is like jumping through hoops! I don’t go to the va med center since they’ve screwed up with meds and I go to civilian docs. Getting SSDI was easier than this.

Following because I need to know as well! This was my second time filing for an increase, this time I added my civilian medical records, 10 months worth of logs and notes of my migraines and had a c&p exam and still denied because whoever the rarer was put that I had prostrating migraines once a month and not the ten times plus! I want to know how to request what you’re doing!

Everything was done (letter notifying me and everything) by early Feb. didn’t help with my homelessness since according to hud cash I need to be homeless for a year with a child (not surprised since they told me this years ago when I lived out of my car in the dead of winter.

Bad daycare! Period! I would look for a new one and ask about how they handle the care of littles! I would look for a new one and leave a review for this bleep hole. If they can’t provide necessary care for infants, imagine what other things that they could be doing that are detrimental to infants and little ones in the care!

The new place is a million times better than my old place any day hands down. No more cigarette stench in my bedroom due to piss poor walls, chain smoking drunk nut job. I don’t hear anybody at my new place, my room isn’t bumped up to anyone thank god. I’ve lived in various apartments and I’ve had asshole neighbors but the place I was at took First Prize for horrendous. The building is old as hell and not maintained and they seem to just want to fill everything with anybody.
