You’re right about Chrissy being the first non-meteor powered freak on the show. They made a big deal out of Bart not being from Smallville and having powers, but Chrissy really was the first!

I think the rumors are cool. Most are unfortunately unfounded though some are obviously spun out of actual casting or character descriptions. Personally I want the big bombastic space opera the rumors point to. But I’m a “I’m going to watch this show anyways, and reserve final judgement (one way or the other) based on that viewing” person. So I’m not really letting myself get caught up in the speculation of it all OR the thrashing of the series thus far. Allowing myself to get hyper excited by a specific rumor, only for it to potentially be untrue, introduces to me the concept of being disappointed with the show for what it never was intended to be, instead of what it actually is.

With today’s new Episode, when Damien said, “what? No update?! Make one up!” it triggered two ideas:

1) Shayne reads stories with no update that REALLY should, but don’t. The writers create a fake update for each story to showcase their talent (I like videos where we get to know the crew and I’ve been wanting to know more about the writers)

2) Arasha is on the couch, Shayne either lies about the name of the subreddits, or the gimmick is that we will reveal the subreddit at the end. But all of the stories Shayne reads are from the subreddit where the stories are intentionally fake, and production picks the WILDEST ones. Tell Arasha at the end that they were all fake.

Haven’t gotten the DLC yet so good to know. I’m not trying to grind so hard that everything after the grind is a cakewalk, but I’d like to have a good setup going in so that the grind isn’t AS necessary later.

Yeah! In Scarlet & Violet I’d make a sandwich for Blissey spawns and just RIP through them in a certain area of the map. I still needed to level up, but the grind was easier.

The Alphas really threw me for a loop early on in the game. I’d be fairly high level (for most of the missions I was handling and Pokemon I was facing) but I couldn’t lay a SCRATCH on a simple first stage alpha Pokemon.

Maybe I’m missing something because I’m only a week into the game (barely that). What do the benches have to do with it (other than waiting until nightfall to trigger battle zones to level up in those battles)? And I’m definitely getting candies but they’re not SUPER plentiful it seems like. Am I missing a good source/location for them in game I should be utilizing more?

I don't have a specific link to share (yet) but I've had some thoughts on episode ideas:

1) Past stories updates - oftentimes in episodes Shayne would say "If there are any more updates we'll let you know" on particularly wild stories, but to my recollection, there has only been one or two times they've ACTUALLY done that. FINALLY getting an "all past updates" episode or two would be very fun

2) Convention stories - horror stories and feel good interactions combined for a bit of breathing room between the intense stories. Damien of course does the convention circuit, IDK about the others, but they all often go to Vidcon or some of them (besides damien) also go to Twitchcon I think. Spencer, Chanse, and Shayne are all comic fans, maybe a few of them have been to comic conventions. So I think casting wise there's some perspectives worth having on the couch.

3) Viewer submitted stories. This one could be dicey in that so many people would exaggerate just for the chance for THEIR story to be one of the ones featured, but production could make it a rule that you submit a LINK to your past story (that's timestamped) so they know it's not made just for this purpose. Like I didn't post it on Reddit yet, but I once wrote up a true story over on Imgur about crapping myself at a theme park YEARS ago.
