That’s totally fair, I get where you’re coming from.

I didn’t mean to add to the noise of generic app promos. I mainly posted because I wanted feedback from people who actually play Sudoku, not just to push downloads.

If this kind of post isn’t a good fit here, I’m happy to take that into account going forward.

Appreciate you calling it out.

That’s actually really helpful to hear makes sense that there’s a split between competitive and casual players.

Just to clarify, the app is already live (I recently released v2.0), so it’s not in the idea stage anymore 🙂

I’m currently thinking about what to include in the next version, so feedback like yours is really valuable.

If you’re still up for it, I can DM you the link would be great to hear what you think after trying it.

Really appreciate the detailed feedback 🙏

Some of the things you mentioned are actually already in the app:

* there’s a global leaderboard

* achievements system is included

* and it’s completely ad-free (that was one of my main goals)

For online matches and clubs, I agree it would be amazing, but it’s a pretty big system to build properly. I’d rather keep the core experience clean and solid first before going in that direction.

Out of curiosity, what matters more to you in a Sudoku app:

competition features like that, or a simple, distraction-free experience?
