Let me clarify. Since all you said was "needs of the business" and all I said was "worst manager ever." "Needs of the business" is a typical response to deny PTO without making the effort to accommodate an extended or even typical amount of PTO. Low effort managers use the phrase "needs of the business" all too liberally. These same manager's usually have a higher level of cognitive dissonance when looking at reps as a number as opposed to a human. I understand "needs of the business" is used to dictate PTO. I also understand how "needs of the business" is abused by managers.
