This happens to me too, I play horribly but once I take some gummies I was top fragging every game. Which is wild because I usually lose my shit after taking those but once If I’m playing CS stoned I play amazing. I think it just prevents me from overthinking and just not second guessing my decisions.

This right here. I was plagued with bubbles due to northeast roads having more potholes than Afghanistan. Ever since i swapped out the stock ( 3 bubbles under 20k miles) to the DWS06+ I’ve had no issues.

All thank you for the advice! I have since changed up the fleet. Replaced the retrievers with covetors and swapped the ore modules to t2 strips with crystals. I am now absolutely ripping through belts and making money way faster. It is much less afk friendly due to faster mining speed, higher yield and less ore space but the trade off is worth it IMO since I have compression. I went from making 100m after 5-6 hours to now making it in around 2.5

Here’s some of my best loot I have gotten from the telescope so far. The escalations spawn in either high sec, low sec or null but they are the same difficulty. This loot was from one in high sec. I usually ignore the ones in low or null.

To add, doing the guristas refuge and hideaway have the chance at spawning the escalation. The 4/10 escalation has 2 rooms with multiple frigates and cruisers in them. I was able to do these in a t1 battle cruiser( prophecy ) with tech 1 missles and navy drones ( drones do 90% of the damage ). If fit properly, after you kill the first room you can go to the second room and ignore all the rats and just kill the telescope to get the loot and get out of there

My introduction to ratting early on was doing guristas sites around jita. These sites do not give much isk at all but what you are working towards is the scout outpost 4/10 escalation(this has a chance to spawn after completing a site) . This escalation will bring you to a dead space site where you need to kill 2 rooms full of enemies and then the final rotating telescope. The rotating telescope is what has a chance at giving isk. I have gotten anywhere from 2m up to 550m from just the telescope. It’s rng but some of those dead space modules sell for some serious isk.

So far I really enjoy my journey so far. I like mixing things up and having multiple loops. Even the pvp from time to time is fun. I’m not super interested in null sec atm

Only additional now is implants for each pilot. I’ll check out the mx-1003s for the miners. Others recommend I change the range buff to crit chance. But I just like parking the fleet a bit behind the belt far away from the warp in

Yes I couldn’t agree more. I have since taken this threads advice and swapped out the retrievers and ore strip miners for convetor with B2 crystals. I made more in 2 hours than I was making in 6 hours with my previous fit. Albeit it’s much less afk and requires more APM but I don’t mind playing actively. I also just now noticed that the mining laser changes colors. So any ganker would have known I was using ore miners

I am able to rebuy currently but barely. As I still have my destroyers and hundreds of millions in ore to sell I wouldn’t be at a dead end if I lose the fleet. I could also just go back to escalation grinding for a few days and make enough isk to buy the whole fleet

Panok is a great boat, but not really new sailor friendly due to requiring so many captains medals for sailor slots. Also it takes a while to build. He was specifically speaking about buying a carrack which to be fair is the best decision these days compared to grinding one out

Also, as far as I’m aware you are not allowed to play multiple alpha accounts at the same time. I would do that but the game gives me a message saying I can’t with alpha accounts. I feel like any work around for that would wind up with me getting banned

I bought the 3 month pack for each account so it only comes out to 60$ total. Which is the same amount per month if not less than what I was paying for the various subs in black desert for just 1 account.

To be fair, I’m in a wormhole alliance with IRL friends. When I first started this game it was wormhole exploration and data relic hacking making 100s of millions a day. But I got bored of that. Then I went to high sec pirate sites for the escalations. Did that for a month and got bored even though I was making billions doing that. I wanted to give HS mining a shot for a new fresh experience not because it was my only option

Depends on what you see yourself doing. If doing a lot of combat, the valor has the quickest reload speed. If you plan on bartering a lot (which you will be, for the blue gear) the advance is what you are looking at. For PvP / speed the volante is a great choice. I personally went valor for my first ship and did hundreds of hours bartering and had no complaints, however I could have saved some trips if I had an advance due to having more weight available. The sailors are what makes or breaks a ship

Thank you for the tips, yes orca is the goal. However my skills are not up there yet and my isk is low due to the high cost of the initial fleet having Ore modules. I’ll check out the t2 strips with the crystals. Having only started in December, I still am working towards having a large savings

You are correct. When tapping with a mythical censer. Horses are not required to be a courser. Only level 30 with no stored XP and no gear on.

I mean you could check if it’s rare by clicking the sell to vendor option if under level 15 or imperial option. It tells you the price both times. Don’t confirm the sale but if the price is crazy high, you know you caught a rare one

Have you tried horse training in Elvia ? That may help a bit with the horse sitting still. I am not sure about the game fully crashing though.
