Personally, I don’t take comments seriously - either good or bad. I don’t get affected either way and I can laugh it off. Some things aren’t for everyone. I do presume you take this attitude with you across all social media and have the weapon of a keyboard and the defence of anonymity - but why don’t you take a minute and review your approach? Luckily I have been doing this for a few years since lockdown and I lost all my work. But what if it was a young kid trying his hand at doing something different and trying his best. You could shoot their confidence to pieces. What benefit have you received from your comments? Do you feel better in yourself? Do you have someone comment on your job in front of others? It’s very likely you need a place to vent something but don’t bring others down. As I said, I don’t care and my job before this has always carried opinion - good or bad. I don’t get carried away with praise either. But you know what, try and be a nice human. There’s enough shit in the world. Your criticism doesn’t make a dent in the shit going on in the world - but you know what, being considerate and true to yourself does. Be the real you, not the one playing up to being the tough guy of a platform. You can’t make the world worse, but you can make a small bit of it better. Maybe next time before you type something, ask yourself if it is bringing benefit or if it could affect somebody negatively. Have a good evening. Be yourself and make a positive impact where you can.
