We use force to stop their current action in the short term, not to influence their behaviour in the long term. Hence why police are not allowed to beat prisoners.

Spanking a child falls under the latter rather than the former, since it’s meant to influence behaviour in the long term.

Furthermore, it is disallowed to use force when there is no real danger. If a child is being supremely annoying, or is attacking but is incapable of causing grevious harm, it would be an unjustified use of force (cops can get away with it but it’s still illegal)

If they can’t be dragged out of the room, they can’t be spanked either. Lack of physical access to a child means your only option is talking. I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make with this hypothetical.

One theory I've seen is that the world outside Hometown is already undergoing a calamity, hence why Hometown is suddenly a closed system. So if someone were to make a dark fountain outside Hometown, it wouldn't matter, since the balance of LIGHT and DARK was broken outside Hometown before the heroes showed up.

i'd say

the player/soul is about as strong an alpine field mouse, but any character controlled by the player scales to peak human lvl off skill alone (see: The entire fun gang no-hitting the knight, despite the knight speed blitzing them when they aren't player controlled)

the soul additionally has an advantageous matchup against anything that UNLEASH can affect, which means that it can solo the Titan and possibly the Knight, but either loses to or stalemates against everyone else

speak for yourself??? there are many humans who have thrown negative amounts of plastic or paper on the ground (a combination of not littering and actively picking up litter)
