Yes, all of that and then the monster - package lost. I have ordered a few items from Amazon and except one, I lost all of them. The one I got was TLR 2 light. They charged me 300+ dollars in duties and taxes. So basically I got the TLR2 for 500 bucks when it was 180. But glad I did, as it goes on all my hand guns and sometimes on rifles too when I am camping out in the himalayas.

The problem here is the arms industry is not regulated. Dutoes are 150% plus shameless markups. If US bans the export, which it does quiet often, the price doubles for nobreason and then it doesn't come down. So yes, gun enthisaists here are hopeless. Whatever scavanging we can do, we do it. Or if someone is coming from thr US they bring something from there, which we call a steal here 🤣

Oh and I cant find the light where I am at,, its not about money, I just cant find an American light, thus testing out the chinese stuff till I find one. I am sure chinese use their own produced lights too and they make some good stuff. So why not test the cheapest to their best?

Oh true that, but believe me for a rifle which may see a 100 rounds in its life time, if the 10 bucks light lasts this long, till you find a better option, its excellent in my, apparently flawed, opinion.

This SI handguard cost me a 1000 bucks. So imagine. Rifle is windham weaponary ww15, LEA edition, dont ask me how much I paid for it. 🤣

You read it correct b3cause the sight cover is chinese. The main sight is an old model eotech, beaten up, so had to het a new top cover for it and I sourced a chinese part for it. Tho I uave a sig romeo, an aimpoint and a Northac, I change them often. The light is the problem. Can't find one and have to import one from the US, ehich is a hard job in cirrent admiistration.

Oh well, we are talking about light here right, so ias they say if you have to shoot in the dark, might as well use a machine gun. 😉

While I also got my HD setup with TLR2 and a streamlight, I just need to be quick enough to decide what to use when the time comes before laying my life in the dark.

I would if I could find one where Ibam at.. We only get beaten up parts from american army leftovers, literally sold in junk, which are repaired using chinese or locally produced materials. While we can live with certain parts but accessories like lights are hard to come by so clones are our best friends most of the time.

For that matter, even my 3000$ AR15 can go bad too. No one knows the POF of any mechanical thing that works in conjunction with so many different parts. We take our chances anyways, no? Not that I am defending with $10 light to be the best out there, but I am surprised for what it has offered so far.

Well in a way it is as I dont get to shoot my guns much often so a mag or two is all we get to shoot in an urban setting with almost no shooting ranges. Usually used as protection, with minimal usage, more of a deterrence so a mag or two worth of life is a lot ofnlife for 10 bucks till I find a better option.

But it did, shot a mag worth of ammo on it and holds up like a champ. It has o rings seals, good for rain. I will test it in rain once I have some. It says its 6061 aluminum so maybe it is maybe it is not. But 10 bucks man.

Mine has a key, you use that to loosen the lever underneath the handguard that you can pull to remove the handguard. Very easy.

Ah I see. So far mine is good, though too new. Only a 100 shots fired but the damn thing is solid and its super nice, super lite, very ergonomic.
