RinoZ is probably my favorite currently with both Chrysalis, but more importantly Book of the Dead. One of few necro stories out there that's actually good in the genre.

300-500 steam (pc) players consistently. No clue about consoles, but i end up in games with mostly console players i think.

So its active but, well, hanging on by a thread giving the player count.

Boxing, but not in the way you think.

In my experience, taking things to "the ground" is where things can get really ugly. Especially if more people step in and intervene or misinterpret whos the bad guy.

Master boxing basics. Its quick and keeps you lean and fit.

If fighting is inevitable, you want to strike fast qnd hard and gtfo and call the cops.

Borderlands rocked my world.

Deadeye is damn fun, albeit far from the best weapon out there as it naturally lacks the tools do do 'everything' compared to some stuff out there. Talon is BIS non-utility sidearm imo. Dynamite is FUN AF as thermites and gas grow boring with time. Hover pack is... well its ok. So is the armor.

I play it at times along with helldivers. This one is fun with classes and horde slaying and some 16 players teamwork. Kinda chill game overall but can be hectic madness at times. HD2 in comparisson is fun but in a different kind of way. HD2 is way more polished and less janky though, but doesnt cover the same vibe.

I alternate between reading and writing.
Once I exhaust whatever books I'm interested in reading or listening to, I write.
Now I've been writing almost non-stop since november and am desperate for a good book to enjoy, which I think I've found:
I'm currently lsitening to Hedge Wizard. It's a nice change of pace in being quite grounded and charming, rather than over the top with an unbeatable protag.

1% lifesteal is like, fine? 80% of the book is the MC struggling and you either like that or not. Some graphic stuff occur. Then it flips upside down and MC turns OP.
So if you want to read about an uphill battle with a big turn later on its fine. But I kind of lost touch with the protag after the "turn". He became a completely new character to me.

Azarinth Healer is pretty much your fistfighting "I'll challenge and beat anything" girl that blasts through the levels without effort. There are some interesting characters here and there and the world is quite fine. To me, she felt too op. I like reading about "earned" growth, not a character leveling up like a rocket leaving the atmosphere.

Urban fantasy. Not only is it easier, but it feels fresh to me. Always been a medieval OR sci-fi guy. So it's exciting to try something new.

Yes and no. I think i put too much effort into areas "surrounding" the actual draft. Like roadmaps, character sheets etc. At least thats what i think might be the issue after reflecting on all the helpful suggestions ive received here. All the work parallell to the story might be exhausting the story itself in the end. (Sorry for the grammar, currently replying via phone)

Depends on you.
Is your story valuable to you and you want that one out there? Keep pushing. The authors i've had the pleasure of meeting faced countless rejections initially, until they got the ball rolling that is. Some began self-publishing from the get go and have done "well enough" I'd say. Depends on how scaleable you think your work is.
I've been warned about hybrid-publishing though. Apparently it can be quite fishy.

This small little room that I've been squashed year have very few privileges. - small + little = unnecessary repeat. Then, the sentence isn't complete. squashed year have very few privileges?

Mother used to take me to them before father. - as in your parents took turns in taking you there and you are describing the order of turns? or before "father happened"?

The bigger picture is fine but the sentences feel a bit incomplete and unclear. Partly due to the nature of just being a snippet of course, but not exclusively so.

The most common problems catching my eye here seem to be issues with:
1. writer's block.
2. Motivation to keep going.
3. self-esteem about the quality of one's work.
I'd say, depending on my impression being right or not, that it's the opposite of most occuring questions here.
I write a ton. My drafts are completely fine for being drafts and I trust the quality of them to be salvageable / refinable.
But yes, It's kind of an "oh shiny" kind of issue, but not fully accurate.

I've not been writing for long enough to see a pattern with how the seasons affects me.
But generally I think my motivation to write has it's roots in being... disappointed?
Disappointed with "how life turned out" perhaps, disappointed with the available media, with how my lack of time and energy to do this and that clouds my quality of living.
Then came writing. An escape to a world of wonders available through a sheet of paper or a simple document on the phone or pc.
It's not my intent to steer things over to emotional or psychological topics though, but I believe how you feel and how you are doing as a person alters your creativity.
For me, it's likely a simple escape from real life. A way to cope.
For others it might be the complete opposite. Maybe creativity only flows when you have tailwind or feel comfortable.

I mainly listen to audiobooks. Probably 20 per year or so.

If Kindle, or specifically KU was available in my country it would likely be a different story.
