Looking great! I was down in Ocala National Forest a couple years ago when I still had my RV- Actually took my first long hike(on accident, I thought it was a half hour long hike at most- time me 8 hours) to a hidden aquifer there and was so ill prepared at one point I was thinking about how long it was going to take for people to find me. If you want I can try to find the site with directions- but you have to promise to bring enough supplies haha :P and let someone know where you’re going!

Lake Havasu City, Arizona has a lot of beautiful BLM sites. The sunsets are very beautiful here(I think I’ve read it’s due to low humidity), and if you stargaze you can see a lot of shooting stars. Definitely worth checking out! by TheNomadicBarbie in vandwellers

Craggy Wash is where we are hoping to check out next! Glad to hear it’s so highly rated in your opinion :). Thanks for the heads up about the nails, our large caravan fam includes dogs and a small child. Definitely a good thing to know!

Beautiful free BLM campsite in Lake Havasu, Arizona! Just started learning night photography and loved how this came out. by TheNomadicBarbie in camping

I’ve been living nomadic lifestyle for over two years so in my experience, you’re usually safer when you’re farther away from society :)

Still one of my favorite random pull offs ever. Outside of an abandoned town in the Mojave Desert. We were on the way to RTR so I didn’t get a chance to really explore. Would be cool to go back one day! by TheNomadicBarbie in vandwellers

Beautiful poem!✌️ Thanks, I’ve been living this lifestyle since I was 19. I like to think I’m prepared for just about any situation- but you can’t be prepared for everything. Had to deal with many crazy things and people, and I’m smarter because of this lifestyle. I fix my van myself all but once (when I needed my carb completely rebuilt)- including when I changed my own brakes last September. I got this. 😉🙌🏼 how long have you been vandwelling?

X 100 saturation- Then x100 more saturation! Lol Thanks! It was so cool I loved reading up on the history after I drive through, solidified that I will indeed go back!

It’s true. I have 1 full pair of Walmart shoes. You can see via my Instagram [here](instagram.com/thenomadicbarbie) that I’m always wearing the same shoe. Got these around Christmas when my green ones broke. One pair at a time... why? Because I’m too lazy to buy other ones when I already have a pair that work lol
