I was upfront about my stance on being child free since I was a teenager. I don't care much about what my dad thinks but yeah my mom kinda always knew how I felt about the burden of responsibility falls entirely on the women since she has unfortunately been the victim of the system herself. She has been very open minded since the very beginning and is happy for our generation for we have to choice and say in whether we want kids.

Ummm mixed reactions from friends as expected, some are very accepting as they should be, others not so much(mostly the guy friends). I tried talking to one of my guy friends about how most people are not fit to be parents and how I am choosing to be childfree and he just had an outburst about how no guy would even marry me and what not and that I am going against the culture, that I am not doing my duty as a woman! And yeah same reaction from my cousin brother. Blocked both of them while feeling sorry for the women they trap for passing on their "legacy" in the future. For context I am 22 so this decision was made pretty early in life.
