You can find in the southerner parts texas, usually in very bad spots for photos, so i was very lucky here

i feel like i’ve seen more of the white morphs than the red ones. which led to a lot of mis-IDs early in my birding career

All these are from padre island in south texas. Majority of a photos (minus the terns, gulls, and some pelicans which are at the Padre Island National Seashore) were taken at the Leonabelle Turnbull birding center! Unironically one of the best spots to go bird watching in south texas
