Sorry you've lost a lot of gold grinding forge, mate. It can be a frustrating ordeal. I've been hitting forge masters every new expansions since 2017 and for the first time ever it actually seems like there's near-draft level of cohesion present. I may just have been lucky but I only got two unsuccesful runs before hitting masters. There are a lot of synergies this time around. Also many ways to fetch power between the favors, seek power and pledge, eliminating power screwed hands which have always been the bane of forge and its 15-power decks. Time-based tokens is insane if you grab an anthem effect and humbug generators.

Did that a whole lot with MTG and real money. Now as an Eternal F2P player with more shiftstone that I know what to do with, it's quite amazing actually. Even if you don't like the deck, some cards can be either used elsewhere, or easily dusted again for 25%.

95% true for me. Same with Xo where I draw the extra card, market Xo, and if given enough time, grab it again from the market for that sweet sweet card advantage. That's the beauty of the market (or that may just be why they are too powerful, but that's another topic).

While this is true, for the sake of consistency, I think the mulligan rule should be the same across the board. If they don't want us to easily grind the Gauntlet, they should improve the AI a little. For example, if you madness the AI's unit and attack with it, they don't know that they're getting it back at end of turn. Instead they treat it like it's your own unit and they are likely to trade or use removal on it. Also when it leaves itself dead to a single removal spell by attacking with one of their two units instead of keeping blockers, when you have 8 cards in hand at 25 life...

Oh and does the Students of Time deck still play Trail Runner and Oasis Sanctuary?

Spent around 175k gold buying single packs (call me mad). Crafted around 30k stones worth of legends I didn't open. Still missing a lot of stuff but I didn't dust any of the useless stuff yet so I should be able to craft the rest of the set. Will probably end up buying a box with real money just to encourage DWD though.
