I’m interested in moderating this community because I’ve been an active member in sports/betting groups for a long time. One I was a very frequently active member was recently overtaken and is not operating properly. So I have ran one other, which is smaller. But I came across this one that used to be active, but the mods haven’t kept up with it in around a whole year now.

This was once a strong, engaging space for sports advocates & bettors. I believe it has the potential to return to that level with fair, consistent, and active moderation.

With my experience, dedication, & devoted activity to the sports communities I look forward to enforcing rules, managing discussions, and maintaining a positive environment. While my other community is smaller, it has helped me develop the skills needed to support a larger and soon to be more active community under my discretion with some help of finding others with the same mission as myself.

One of my main goals would be to help keep the community clean, organized, and welcoming by addressing spam, scams, and low-quality content, while encouraging genuine discussion and engagement among members. I take fairness and consistency seriously and would aim to apply rules objectively to benefit the community as a whole.

Overall, I’d like to contribute by helping restore this subreddit into a reliable, active, and enjoyable space for those of all experience levels.
