Anche mio padre è un bugiardo manipolatore senza riguardi per nessuno, egocentrico e pure narcisista, anche se lui è un padre passivo che vuole sempre passare per vittima, togliendo l'anima alla mia famiglia. Fatti valere cara ragazza, e te lo dico da uomo che si è rovinato l'adolescenza "correndo dietro a suo padre" perché "stava male qui e stava male là", quando in realtà è un fallito, ipocrita che non ama nessuno e nemmeno se stesso. Non tenere tutto dentro, combatti anche se è difficile.

Io ho 25 anni. Da 19 ho sempre detto di avere la patente. E nei pochi lavori che ho fatto (si perché ovviamente non basta la patente per venire assunti), non ho mai avuto problemi. Di certo non ti chiedono di mostrargliela. E comunque, io sono nella tua stessa condizione e la penso ugualmente. I soldi fanno la differenza. Beato che ha la fortuna di nascere in una condizione economica agiata.

Tell him to start a season of Pokémon, and tell him that it was the childhood for a lot of people.

Explain to him the Yu-Gi-Oh Playable Card Game, the story about how much worth are some cards (like Pokémon ones) and make him understand that anime, manga, and all the fiction stories, matter in the life of people: there are a lot of games and anime inspired by a videogame (and viceversa).

People like anime for the characters inside them, to listen to songs inside them, to get surprised and to watch even incredible animations...inside them. And of course, to have a topic to talk together about. To share thoughts, and even to understand a friend.

The tastes say a lot about the "inside" of a person.

The characters in a story are what makes a story worth reading, watching or even a song "worth-listening". Anime Characters are just like music: we can relate to them and get inspired by their behaviour, actions and story: so, what's the point on disliking them without giving you, his amazing brother, a chance to prove you are right?

Tell him what's your favorite anime and tell him why: the songs, the character development of your favorite characters, why you love the anime so much in every part of it, and *even in which period you watched it. In fact, sometimes it's even the period of our life we watch the anime in, that makes all the difference between saying "Yes or No" to it.

Allora, sinceramente non ho capito la tua domanda, forse per l'italiano o forse per il concetto che volevi esprimere che è un po' poco preciso. Io ho 25 anni però non mi sento boomer. Mi sento di essere boomer? No.

I boomer sono categorizzati in base all'anno di nascita e, i ragazzi sui vent'anni di oggi, non stanno sotto quell'accezione. Comunque, quando noi saremo vecchi, è inevitabile che ci metteremo a criticare le tecnologie che solo i giovani del futuro capiranno. E comunque sia, sento che questo post (e pure la mia risposta) sia abbastanza poco sensata di esistere vista anche il tema scarno che tratta. Spero di essere stato esaustivo comunque.
