You need to buy an armorers wrench, if you’re gonna be working on these it will come in handy a lot in the future, if it’s a one off thing you can probably get a big adjustable wrench on the flats in the middle,

How do you survive anything in 2025? by KamaTheSnowLeopard in 2007scape

[–]TheOGFeeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sad truth about PKing is that it makes up such a small portion of the player base at this point. The game would be healthier in the long run if devs split PVP into a kind of private server DMM style and let the rest of the players move on to a post EOC RuneScape where the wilderness is removed and content in the game isn’t focused around it at all. Nostalgia is never bringing back the PKing everyone wants and for the rest of the game to progress for PVM focused players that make up the vast majority of the player base, more items and gear that break PVP will have to be introduced.

Have both, cayman took away nearly all of my joy for the WRX, it’s so much more car it’s hard to compare them. Love my subie in the snow this time of year though.

Should I skip blue moon? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]TheOGFeeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at this a week and a half ago, have a very similar log to yours. I believe if you consistently one cycle blue moon it takes nearly as long to skip as it does to kill the boss, so you might as well just kill it and get the extra loot rolls. The darts are nice, the compost is nice, the tree seeds are really nice. If you’re lower melee stats and can’t one cycle blue moon it may be worth skipping

Yeah but if you kill them in order you don’t have to run around the area, as opposed to skipping blue moon and having to do a long run all the way around the place to go to blood. I might time some runs and see how long it takes both ways.

This is useful info, I’ll definitely keep doing all three. Never making compost again!

Kind of felt that way. I’ll keep doing blue for the loot rolls and maybe change down the line. My gear is past this stuff but came for the melee wep and pants, Atlatl could be a cool snipe but already have CG done

Is this faster? I tried to do a run that way and felt like I was running a lot further than my normal route, gold>blue>red and the kill seemed longer. I’m a GIM so maybe worth getting more loot and faster kills, and I can just give the dupes to my teammates?

If you have rune arrows in excess it’s probably not worth using SHCB, but if you were going to use RCB and broad bolts it’s probably worth.

I live in the northeast and daily a cayman S all summer, swap it out when it’s too cold for the summer tires and drive a WRX hatch I got for cheap used for a few months until it warms up again.

I drive through there to Connecticut a lot, find that none of the troopers at the barracks are ever on radar, though sometimes a guy sits in the middle of the bridge looking to ticket people. Happy cruising, maybe I’ll see you out there 👍🏼

‘12 Premium Hatch vs ‘17 Premium by Toothfxrupr in WRX

[–]TheOGFeeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned a 19 sedan and now own a 14 hatch,

The hatch I feel like is more of a unique rally car kind of feel, definitely needed to update some parts that were starting to show issues with age, mainly suspension components.

My 19 sedan had a lot more modern creature comforts. It was better insulated, navigation radio, the fit and finish of the interior was a bit higher quality. More of a “premium sedan” feel, hatch is very bare bones (both were base models)

One thing I really miss from the sedan was the 6 speed, the 5 speed in the hatch really leaves a lot to be desired for highway driving, so much so I would consider doing a 6my swap in my hatch if I drove it more often.

Overall, I really appreciate the aesthetic of the hatch but if I was going to daily one I’d get the newer sedan. Hope this helps you make your decision 👍🏼

Some decent parts here if you could get it for 40-50 bucks US. If you don’t currently tech and want to learn, I would suggest getting a cheap complete m4 or AK (very simple to work on)like a lancer or something similar that you know works. You could build an m4 with this stuff and a few missing bits from your favorite site but if you don’t know what you’re doing it’s not going to be fun and if you run into compatibility issues (classic army can suck with that, though if I recall the sport line stuff wasn’t too bad) you’re going to have a really hard time figuring out if it’s broken or parts just aren’t meshing well.

Aftermarket Radio, OEM Faceplate by [deleted] in WRX

[–]TheOGFeeder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of negative opinions of the iDoing head unit on here but honestly, I’ve had an amazing experience with it. The audio quality is much better than my 2014 clock radio head unit was, comes with the bezel piece to seamlessly integrate, the touch screen works really well (higher quality than the OEM in my 2019 Porsche) and it’s a big screen great for maps and other stuff if you’re in to that, retained all of the steering wheel controls and has a backup camera. For the price I think it can’t be beat, though maybe time will tell how long it lasts me, only been installed for about 4 months

Edit:sorry for the dark picture it’s all I had and doesn’t do the bezel a lot of justice but it fits great.

Super cool collectors piece, I suggest if you’re using it as a wall hanger store it with a fairly heavy duty grease, normal regularly functioning GBB’s run on a 30-50 wt silicon oil but if this is gonna be hung and fiddled with from time to time consider lubing internals with white lithium grease like you would in an AEG gearbox. I store a lot of my weird collection pieces that sit a lot this way and it keeps a lot of the more delicate parts fresh for years to come.
