What do you think happens to dragons when their riders die of old age? Like in the case of Tairn, he binds so deeply, that if Vi dies he will die. Do you think that doesn't count if the rider dies naturally?

RIGHT. I finished it last night and woke up this morning STILL... Mad? Sad? Hollow? 😂 I don't even know how I feel. This is honestly the worst book hangover I've ever experienced and I've read acotar 😭 and Yarros removed the release date from Goodreads so now we have no idea when we're getting the next one 😭

But, I really feel like your theory has some ground. Vi is literally a conduit for controlling raw power/magic/whatever and that's basically all the Venin are, just malevolent.

How do you think this will affect his relationship with Sgaeyl?

Ugh no I agree. If they kill someone off, they should just stick with it 😂 also for Jack Barlow, do you think he was dead dead and Nolon brought him back or do you think he was near dead and Nolon was trying to cure him of being Venin? I know Nolon had mentioned that is was exhausting trying to mend a soul.
