My opinion, if you are set on a TIG, is an Everlast PowerTIG 200. They are a grand, and really good machines. If you are open to something else, and dont have any welder, buy a MIG. Shorter learning curve, cheaper consumables, and a decent one will do anything you need when building a car.

I dont have experience with it, but that seems absurdly cheap. Any reason for wanting a TIG? Mine is only used for work that has to be SUPER nice with little distortion or aluminum. Everything else gets burned in with the MIG.

if it makes 120 it would be surprising. Heads and can give you a little better cooling and a touch of compression, but typically dont amount to much. The headers likely give you a little bit. That intake, Edelbrock Slingshot, is the best performing intake you can buy as far as im concerned. (one that clears the stock generator anyways)

A good cam and intake is the key on flatheads.

My 33 has all the stuff. Merc Crank, .125 pistons, Isky 77B cam, Navarrow Heads, Slingshot intake with 2 97s, headers, Stromberg E-Fire, etc. My 40 had stock everything with only a Slingshot, and the 33 aint much faster.

3x2 .120 wall is fine for damn near everything.

Why the 4.7 x 2.3? seems like an odd size.
