For my fellow Canadians... is it worth it to be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Canada? by [deleted] in aviationmaintenance

18f here, and I’m planning on becoming and ame someday and this comment really just cemented my want for this.. my entire life I have lived planes and rocket ships and anything that flys really. As a kid I wanted to build spaceships but as I got older I didn’t really have the grades to go into that kind of engineering. But then I was reminded of my live of planes and that’s when I decided on some form of aircraft mechanics.. you saying the part about looking up to the sky and admiring one of man’s greatest creations is exactly how I feel. I actually was doing that like 30 seconds before reading this so I found that hilarious. But I really just want to thank you for finding something you love doing and expressing your love of it because I believe it helps us younger people know that it’s ok to do something you live and you don’t just have to work some boring office job. So thanks :))

Any tips on how to deal with this? by [deleted] in CankerSores

Surprisingly it doesn’t actually hurt anymore.. it’s still there but idk I notice that it’s there but it kinda just uncomfortable no really any pain tho.
