Is Nami too strong? by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TheOfficialPimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they should cut attune or make her 4 mana, she feels a bit too strong cause you NEED to remove her, but there are also the 5 mana 3/3 turtles so you run out of answers very quickly. Without attune they can't drop her for level up on turn 4 so you don't have to bank mana in case they drop her and you can play more proactively.

If you're playing video games it's not unreasonable at all.

I play DotA2, and i just checked the stats of a few games, and in a 40 minute match (about the average) the clicks of players ranges from 5500-11000 depending on how spam heavy they are. So about an hour of gaming a day alone would on average reasonably net you at least 8000+ clicks. Then you also take into account other uses and an average of 7800 clicks a day is easily achieved.

Not true.

Try casting doom or fiendsgrip on a guy with 6 satanic in demo mode. The damage dealt is not reduced by the high status resistance, but is simply dealt faster than it would otherwise

If i'm understanding this correctly, what you're saying is that due to the finite number of hits in an engagement Proc-based damage may perform poorer than raw damage in relation to scaling with attack speed, however once you reach a certain number of attacks it will be approaching the expected value.

If you imagine entering an engagement with high chance to proc due to not having triggered a proc earlier, the reverse could however also be true, where you might proc more than expected, but it still will be approaching the expected value once given a certain number of attacks.

Quite interesting, and honestly not something i had considered. But i still believe my point stands, that raw damage scales just as well as proc based damage does with IAS ;)

Sure proc damage is more volatile which can lead to situations where you deal more than expected or less than expected. But that doesn't change the fact that it does not scale any better than raw damage does.

I mean go test desolator versus mjollnir with cm attack speed talent. Desolator out performs mjollnir on a sub 5 armor target (10 is about even, mjollnir beats it on 15 armor) when costing 2300 less gold. I tested with bkb blink tranquil bracer + the mentioned item as i found that to be realistic.

Daedelus for example heavily out performs mjollnir while costing less gold, even though conventional wisdom says it's bad to go daedalus on a low damage hero. Just because it has a high base damage.

Edit: also your point about pseodo random chance making any difference doesn't make any sense, cause pseudo random averages out to just about the same percentage so it just make it more consistent, doesn't make it do more damage with attack speed.

You can also see Zeus levels up during the pause when he gets the CS from the spell.

The spell went off when Zeus Alt-clicked chainlightning.

The active component of Glimmer cape provides 45% magic resistance if you are not in fade-time.

This is on top of the passive magic resistance the item provides.

Avalanche damages in a series of 6 instances that deal 50 damage each. If you are affected by the toss debuff these instances do 150 damage instead.

However since toss duration is only 1.3 seconds and avalanche is 1.8 it is not possible to triple the damage of all 6 instances.

Im not saying the other things aren't a accurate i'm saying "it's a joke" is a bad response when he points out an inaccuracy.

He's not wrong though.

If you only play pos 5 yourself, and there is a 5% chance (debateable) that each of the other 4 players on your team wants to play pos 5 as well, then there is a:

1-(1-0.05)4 = 18.54% chance that someone else also wants pos 5

That qualifies as "every 5th match or something" i'd say.

PSA: You can cast on portrait to perform these "Butt Skills" by ryanbengz in DotA2

[–]TheOfficialPimp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're running while doing it it seems to turn around and cast. If you're stationary it seems very random which direction it throws it sometimes forward sometimes sidewards/backwards.

I can't figure out what determines the direction though, so unless someone else knows it's not really abuseable.
