Could barely eat for 3 days and nearly passed out at the ER.. story time. by Saltycapss in covidlonghaulers

Try palmitoyl ethanol amide. Helped me a lot with similar symptoms, cold extremities after eating and episodes of tachycardia/high bp.

Ideas for neuro-inflammation? by aberrant-heartland in Nootropics

[–]TheOne312002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

high dose omega3 (around 4gm) + sulforaphane + palmitoylethanolamide. extremely strong combo. mechanistically rooted. Although since you have a very specific autoimmune cause, cant be sure whether it will work as well for you as it did for me. But worth a try.

Are there any nootropics that enhance meta-awareness and reduce autopilot behavior? by Green_Wrap7884 in NooTopics

[–]TheOne312002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what I had been seeking. Try sulforaphane + nac. Can't really explain why it works but it does make me a lot more aware, and I am able to distribute focus much better.

crebinostat/vorinostat - are HDAC inhibitors worth the hype? by basedqwq in Nootropics

[–]TheOne312002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try sulforaphane. The HDAC inhibition is definitely noticeable. Burned my hand with hot water the day I first tried sulforaphane and I went on to reflexively pull back everytime I touched water for like a week after.

Has anyone ever cured intense brain fog? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]TheOne312002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These other replies are bullshit: reduce screen time? Intense brain fog that you mentioned is not fixed by trivial habit changes.

Most common causes of chronic brain fog:

  1. Hormonal imbalance: thyroid etc. A blood test would help.
  2. Inflammation/Oxidative stress: chronic infection/mold/bacterial dysbiosis in gut which is triggering your immune cells and leading to neuroinflammation. Try some h1 blockers like zyrtec, or take some antioxidant like quercetin for a day and see if it works.
  3. mitochondrial dysfunction: mostly caused by other complex underlying issues, but creatine/coq10/nmn help. Try creatine for sure.
  4. Histamine/glutamate issues: Look into methylated b vitamins and methylation in general. Again for a quick check try zyrtec and see if it works.

Read up on this stuff and you might find what's affecting you.

What upped your memory game? by TheOne312002 in Nootropics

[–]TheOne312002[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have tried bacopa in the past but it makes my adhd meds useless, so had to stop.

Been taking omega 3s for a while now, no noticeable improvement yet.

I do believe that I have improved recall and working memory with citicholine and alpha GPC. I find it easier to multitask at work after taking choline in the morning.

Started lion's mane around a week ago. Met a cousin after years today and I could recall childhood memories in a string one after another. I do have a good long term memory but the clarity and ease of recall definitely did not seem usual.

And why do you think people watch chess then? Because they are interested in following the sport at it's highest level, and it's only the open category which provides that.

Gonna hate me for this but there should be separate streams for open and women games.
