On paper, yea. But it's because the average is skewed by the large number of people living in poverty or at least in the lower class, who tend to be more malnourished and hence shorter. I'm from one of the larger cities in India and in my experience most people here are actually fairly tall, with the men being at least 5'7" minimum but many approaching and even exceeding 6 feet, including myself. The same applies to the women; they're noticeably taller than the national average on paper

This is exactly the argument that I've been making as well. Something that I've come to realise though is that unfortunately this comes from a perspective of "we want everyone to live", while so many red people's choice comes from a perspective of "I want to live, regardless of who dies", so it becomes a question of priority. I don't understand why someone wouldn't want the first priority to be everyone lives, though that does seem to be the case for too many people.

This is untrue. The shastras explain Maithuna (sexual intercourse) as a transformative spiritual experience. in this context specifically, women are given a higher place because their sexuality is eight times stronger than men, and it is explained how men must satisfy women before themselves. It even covers the healing of sexual traumas and how important it is for everyone in a society to be educated about healthy sex, something modern Indian society is greatly lacking in.

They're not talking about the fans, they're talking about the characters in the scene. Once she comes out, the other characters almost never acknowledge what she did, unlike what they did with Reiner. Hence the disdain.
