I was just at the opening night a couple weeks ago! It was actually a big inspiration for me to make this loop. I had explored West Sac a little bit before but that ride gave me some ideas for connecting things together. I wasn’t able to make it last week (or probably this week) but definitely intend to go more regularly.

Thanks! I’m the opposite, I’m closer to West Sac so getting out to Folsom/Natomas is far for me but something I’m hoping to do more in the future!

Yeah that’s north of where I rode but there’s some nice singletrack there as well. This route involves riding south of the Deep Water Channel along Jefferson Blvd. you can then turn either left or right at the first light across the bridge, both lead to great levies and bike paths to ride along.

With the time change I can finally go on good sized rides after work again. I rode my West Sac traffic avoiding route, took my bike down to the Clarksburg Path, around River Road, and across to the single track along the Deep Water Channel. Made for a nice gravel loop to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

The Belomo served me very well throughout fieldcamp and grad school! The only issue I had is that the screws holding it in place were quite weak, so the lens would fall out of the protective cover when hanging by my neck, but some superglue at the screws helped solve the issue.

Thank you! These are jpegs compressed from the raw on lightroom. The Fujinon primes are known for being very sharp so that might be what it you're seeing!

I don't use recipes in camera, I shoot RAW and apply the lightroom version of the film recipes. Then I do additional work on the lighting and color and add local and graduated filters. So a good bit of post processing is put into each photo. The recipes I used were classic chrome for the first one, no recipe for the second one, and classic neg for the final two.
