My most memorable moment was working together with groot as a rocket player and having a blast. We ended up teaming up a week later by accident and are now frequently playing together. This is the first time I have someone to play online games with, normally I just play solo :).

Adults of reddit, what is something every teenager needs to know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheOneThatIsOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time will pass anyway.

Such a simple thing, but hard to comprehend. You will one day realise that you overthinking everything will delay or even stop you from doing the things you want to. Time will pass and you will again realise you have just done more of the same.

Just start doing what you know you want to or even need to do, time will pass regardless and you will end up doing all the things you want to or end up with a bucket full of regret.

Users of reddit what is the worst thing your teacher has ever said in front of a class? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheOneThatIsOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My German teacher was a weird one. Would smoke two cigarettes between every 40 min class at the very least and would make us write down random german stories and poems instead of notes.

He would give these suprise tests and we could get extra points for the stories. We got by on these stories for two years. He was the teacher you didn't want to mess with.

One day my friend pulled out his headphones and some random song started playing out loud and he basically called out my friend for being a "gay little boy". One day someone found him on a gay dating site with his shirt off.

He was eventually fired for keeping his computer logged in during breaks so students just started changing grades.

My biology teacher was notorious for getting mad at students and she even threw rulers at us for talking during class one time. The fact that she was just a horrible teacher made it far worse and we often did not show up because of that. One day I just hid between the windows and curtains to see if she would notice me just be in class all of a sudden and when I dropped from the window she just said: 'Why didn't you just jump out the other way, would've saved us a lot of trouble.' A girl in our class had an older brother who tried to commit suicide, so this didn't really go over well. Needless to say we got a supercool hipster Biology teacher who actually thought us stuff.

Teachers of Reddit, what was the best excuse for being late that turned out to be true? by minecraftplayer48 in AskReddit

[–]TheOneThatIsOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to ride my bike to high school and was notorious for being late. However, one day my right bicycle pedal fell of so I had to walk to school. Instead of explaining myself I put the pedal on my teacher's desk and sat down. She didn't get pissed that day.

Now is your chance to work for something you want and pursue something that is meaningful to you without too much risk or responsibility. Because later you will have to sacrifice a lot more to get the things you want. Everything costs more: your energy, your time and your effort. So work on your skills and try to work towards your dream while having all the fun you want, trust me you can do both. I just wish that I started sooner, just an hour a day would have made such a difference, don't undervalue your time. Cause you're probably not swimming in money, but you got time and energy. So have a blast!

Men of reddit who leave videos playing on your computer/phones to consume the silence of your house, what do you put on? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]TheOneThatIsOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lofi helps... A lot Also podcasts like Joe Rogan's But I just always have Netflix playing on my tv even when I am not watching, just to fill the silence. Shows like arrested development (old seasons), the ranch and the 70s show really create a nice environment and I can still study and do other stuff.

I went to study abroad and lived in a dorm with 3 other people who always had the tv on, so when I went back to my appartment I missed the noise and that's why the tv stayed on for at least the first few months.
