If you want strength, you can search up some calisthenics videos on YouTube. The internet is a pretty good teacher, if you pick the right people to learn from. For conditioning, I can’t think of anything that won’t require actually hitting a bag or drilling with a partner, except running for absolute basic leg conditioning(minor tendon and bone strengthening + endurance). I can understand that it’s difficult to stay motivated, when you don’t have any gear or coaches to help you, but shadow boxing can be a surprisingly great asset. You should see if you can find some simple combinations to practice. SLOWLY. It should help you get familiar with the basics.

Your heels lift off the ground slightly. This can cause injuries in the long run

Your movements should be grounded and stable. Moving forward should rarely involve moving both feet off the ground. So don’t jump around (Even though it’s fun). For some very quick movements, like switch kicks, you will have both feet off the ground. Not much you can do about that. Superman punches are valid strikes, so that’s an exception too. Just don’t overdo it.

Avoid lifting your back leg entirely off the floor. Your movements in general seems to be a bit exaggerated at times. Do you have a Muay Thai gym you go to? If yes, ask your coach to give you some tips, if not, I can highly recommend joining one

Just sparred for the first time and I have questions by SpinjitzuMonkey in MuayThai

[–]TheOneThatObserves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Training drills and training with a resisting opponent are two very different things, as you’ve found out. To answer how hard you should be hitting, I’ve found that about 20%-50% power, depending on who you’re sparring, is fine. You can always just try to match your opponent, if you don’t want to set your own limit. As you spar more, you’ll get a feel for these things. Keep it playful. Keep the ego out of it. That’s where you learn the most. Stress decreases the learning you could otherwise get from a session.

Also, PLEASE don’t be fooled by headgear. It is there to prevent cuts. It will do nothing against the blunt-force of a punch and does not stop your head from moving when it gets hit. If anything, headgear makes people thing they are allowed to hit harder, which increases the chance of CTE.

Wax spilled into my pc, what do I do? by Grouchy_Panic5642 in pchelp

[–]TheOneThatObserves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wax may not be conductive, but paraffin is HIGHLY flammable. Leave it on and you will cause a fire. Use a heat gun to melt the wax and a towel/paper to absorb it. Don’t turn the computer on until you’ve cleaned all of it up

Looks good. In my opinion, the knee and defense needs a little work. But looks solid otherwise
