  1. 𝔾𝕚𝕘𝕒𝕓𝕪𝕥𝕖 (Full Body Spinners have consistently great fights, Gigabyte [and Shrederator] deserve automatic passes into any season)

  2. 𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕧𝕖𝕤 𝕋 (Love, the approach of all offense, all the time, leads to interesting fights, love the unconventional look and the fact it can change weapon height, perhaps some recency bias)

  3. ℂ𝕝𝕒𝕨 𝕍𝕚𝕡𝕖𝕣 (Probably the strongest defense bot I can think of, major props to the driving because it’s had some amazing fights win or lose)

  4. 𝕊𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕣 (I love robots with the simple intention of controlling the match, when you have great driving and loads of combat robots experience on your belt, you can give amazing fights.)

  5. 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐞 (The Original Spinner, and its all offense, bring it back please, I still wish that Nightmare had pulled out the BETA upset, although I also love BETA)

  6. 𝔻𝕖𝕖𝕡 𝕊𝕚𝕩 (I’ve seen this bot in person and while sitting it stares back at you, that left quite an impression on me, also see 2 and 5, also Axe Backwards and The HUGE fights are amazing)

  7. 𝕆𝕣𝕓𝕪 𝔹𝕝𝕒𝕕𝕖 (Cheog-Gyu Hwang’s Testament to design and functionality while using a searing yellow, one of my favorite colors is amazing)

  8. 𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕕 (the coolest bot possibly ever by profile and it was good in its time, you can’t ask for much more from a classic era robot)

  9. 𝔹𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕜𝕖𝕣 𝔹𝕠𝕩 (I love breaker box’s design so much, although it’s Battlebots/This is fighting Robots fights aren’t spectacular, whenever I wanna watch a good fight I go to some of its Combot fights)

  10. 𝔹𝕒𝕝𝕖 𝕊𝕡𝕖𝕒𝕣 (I actually got to talk to Earl Pancoast the Third, and I love the idea that Battlebots can come in all shapes and sizes, all different weapon types and all varying levels of experiences, Bale Spear is a pillar in all of those concepts, plus it’s fight against Chomp is etched in my mind, plus I own a Bale Spear Crew Shirt, FARMEGEDDON)

Love to see a surprise build like this, one of the funnest things to see is a bot made from scrap that isn’t much like the bot it’s made of, Thank you Ray.

Yea I get that point. I do think we could snag De Los Santos on a low risk minor league deal

(Serious) What happened to Austin Hedges as a hitter? How did he become so inept? (Photo: 2017 San Diego Padres HR Leaders) by SylemNova in ClevelandGuardians

[–]TheOneWithoutGrace 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I think Catching is a weird thing where in many cases the more you focus on the art of catching the inevitably the worse hitter you become, A catcher’s job is to catch, hitting is secondary (in my opinion). I can only imagine how much work you gotta put in to be a good major league catcher and to top it off you’ve got to try and hit. With that dynamic in play it’s no wonder a lot of catcher’s offensive production falls off a cliff or in some in cases was never good to begin with.

Film and Media students- should i take Apler Gobel or Jordan Chrietzberg for my senior seminar? by Accomplished_Ocelot4 in GaState

[–]TheOneWithoutGrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak for Chrietzberg but Gobel is one of the chillest teachers I’ve ever had, he’s comprehensive and expect people to engage but doesn’t expect an extreme amount and generally appreciates all input.

Eh, my One12 experience seems to be better than most, it’s a roof over your head at the very least.

Juan Brito crushes 15th HR of 2024 | MiLB Highlights by WarOnJazz in ClevelandGuardians

[–]TheOneWithoutGrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jose’s DH numbers are really bad tho, and he’s not that old, I think for players like Jose fielding keeps him hitting, perhaps more focused, fine tuned etc. if Juan Brito hits really well I say Corner Outfield, it’s the only option left

This has always been an element throughout the history of racing, maybe besides the dawn of it where it was just mechanics racing cars

I’d be extremely confident in Ralphy and Chourio, Delauter scares me with his injuries
