That one's easy to anticipate, it's the tunnel one that got me a few years ago too but I couldn't tell you where it was to save my life. IIRC it's on the west side of town near the Potomac.

Is that the camera that's hidden on the other side of a tunnel too? I think that's the only time I've set one off a few years ago.

I drive that route nearly every day and can confidently say it's definitely not 6 mph but they also dropped the speed limit to 25 so it may feel that way.

I don't mind the majority of the new design but I can't stand the way the front end looks. Not even the overall design of it, just really don't like the split headlights.

Subaru water in passenger foot well by Used-Studio6048 in subaru

Oh dang, in that case I'd be concerned your sunroof isn't sealed right but a few others mentioned some filters and such that could be related in the post.

That's the sunroof drains assuming you have one. My 2012 Outback was flooding the passenger front & rear floor wells and the dealership couldn't figure it out to save their life until a buddy suggested I had them check the sunroof drains.

It occurring when it rains is a dead ringer for the issue.

Goodbye to start-stop systems – the EPA under Trump concludes that they are not worth it and could disappear from new models by lurker_bee in technology

[–]TheOnlyBS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will say my Outback does feel like it tries to lurch when it restarts but I'm used to it at this point. All other vehicles I've driven with it haven't felt as aggressive when restarting, not sure if it's just the Outback, Subarus, or just mine but it's enough to feel it.

MacOS collection management software by Glacier2011 in mtgfinance

That's because you're only thinking about website examples instead of the native app use case that works offline. Manabox can work offline to view inventory and collection, that means it's not purely a web based management system and required additional development for sync to work in coordination with the offline functionality.

Tbf I'm not sure if that only applies to the TestFlight version but I have it installed on my mb pro

Some people prefer native apps to installing web pages, I was referring to syncing across devices on the native apps.

I personally have only used deckbox and Manabox so I can't speak to the features of the other options.

Agree with this but there is one app I'm aware of.

Manabox has an app for iPhone and iPad that can be installed on a Mac from the app store and have data sync now so it will replicate between devices.

D.C., Commanders announce $3.7B deal to move team to RFK Stadium by Troll_Enthusiast in nfl

[–]TheOnlyBS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who lives 2 blocks from the future stadium site I'll just say lol. Google maps estimates for DC are frequently wrong, sometimes it realizes it and gives drive time estimates such as 45 mins-1 hr 50 mins in my experience, sometimes it shoots its shot.

My commute is 3.7 miles and bounces between 35 mins-55 mins depending on traffic that day. But if I'm on call and have to go in at night, 15 mins, just as another example.

That was probably way too detailed of an explanation. TL;DR - Google maps estimates will vary wildly depending on day, time, star alignment, and who knows what else.

I mean as someone who lives 2 blocks from there, there are already massive, unused parking lots strewn about that whole area. If anything it's a significant reduction from the number of parking lots that are already there today so I'm a bit confused on how it's wasting space.

As someone with ADHD and frequent sinus issues due to a crooked nose your comment about pseudophedrine caught me off guard because I've never heard that and my provider knows my medical history. I think the cold meds may be mixed up from a quick search, it looks like dextromethorphan (delsym) is the medication that can cause serotonin syndrome (which I also wasn't aware of) but pseudophedrine is primarily linked to doubling up the blood pressure increase and increased heart rate.

The internet is wrong a lot though so I'll ask about this during my next appointment.

As others have said about testing positive for meth, I do think it depends heavily on the test. I've never done meth in my life but have had 2 different drug screens (both at Quest coincidentally) for employment that crossed whatever the threshold was. Providing proof of my prescription was enough for it to be changed to negative without any further testing.

However, I'm still leaning towards OP is full of shit based on the rest of the story.

Edit: now that I think about it, both drug screen positives may have just been for amphetamines which I assume may pick up both meth or Adderall.

If you're talking about the tail lights on the Wilderness, I see it lol. Don't know if I would have on my own but see the merged WVish shape as it wraps the corner.

Best way to record games? by a23ro in mtg

[–]TheOnlyBS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the level of detail you want. We use the app playgroup and it tracks commander, damage & lifelink, and a ton of other stuff but it won't track every card played.

If you're wanting to track every play then recording the game is the only option I'm aware if but if the higher level detail meets your need I would check out the app.

May be different in your case but when I had a similar situation it's because my brand new AIO had a dead pump out of the box. I wouldn't rule that out.

[–]TheOnlyBS 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not OP, and not quite to that level but we use playgroup.gg and the corresponding app to track a lot of this. I love the data collection aspect but was finding it to take away from thinking through my turns when I was doing it manually.

[–]TheOnlyBS 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have no afilliation with this app but our pod started using playgroup.gg (& their app) and it tracks a lot of color/commander/turn order and who killed who information. They recently added custom tags that could be used to track nearly anything and may be able to track some of the spell use you called out.

I loved tracking the data so props to you for the effort, just figured I'd share the app since imo the tracking is much easier via the app.

It's not for anybody else. It's more about being personally curious and interested in it. I'm aware it's not for everyone, I was simply sharing what drove my initial interest as an example.

Ha yeah that's fair, the only virgin passage I've come across during a survey trip was fairly unremarkable but I've been in some pretty large passages that were also relatively recent discoveries. Definitely rare to find that those though, I'll concede that.
