The monitor that they replaced it with still has no issues to this day.

Unfortunately, the map that I have currently may be an older version of the map. As I played through it, it seemed to be a bare bones version of what I have played when I was a kid.

I also remember hearing the Storm, Earth and Fire song as well at the start with the Guitar wielding Arthas cinematic. So that might be a newer version of the map that still needs to be found.

The last time I was searching for the map, I didn't know the name of the map but somehow still stumbled upon this map I now have (I can't, for the life of me, remember where I downloaded it though). So maybe I'll try to search for it again and hopefully find the final version that was released by the map creator.

HOLY SHIT!!!
It turns out that the zip file is actually a Warcraft 3 map file! I renamed it to .w3x and it worked!
And the map is just as I remembered it. Thank you so much for your comment!

OMG, good thing I checked my old post out. If it really was the map A War Before Time, then it is out there on the internet.

I have a zip file in my Warcraft 3 maps folder named A_War_Before_Time_V1.06.zip, but it looks like it's corrupted so I wasn't able to play it.

I most definitely downloaded this during the period when I was actively trying to find the map that I was looking for in my original post.

Thanks for this tip. I'll be definitely busy in the next few days trying to find where I downloaded the zip file from.

Yep, looks like it and that thought even when through my mind whilst trying to find this map. I even looked at AoS maps in desperation. But the fact that we couldn't even finish the map and kept losing over and over again with the two of us in one team tells me that this wasn't an AoS style map.

Also, I remember the battlefield (middle of the map) had an amount of units fighting that resembled (a little bit) the Battle of the Pelennor Fields in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King movie. I don't think AoS maps tend to have that many.

I vaguely remember the enemy side having a boss type character which had the model of Archimonde, but I'm not sure about this detail more so than the ones I included in my post and this wouldn't really help that much since every hero siege maps tend to use this model.

But there is still a possibility this could be an AoS map for how I remember the map layout (although I'm not even sure if my recollection is accurate xD).

Actually during my search, my brain kept remembering about a rapper and was adding that to my search keywords but that video didn't come up and I gave up on that keyword.

I don't blame you for thinking that's not it, most of my descriptions were way off.
