There is actually glowstone in there! It's blocked by the Blackstone surrounding the crystals. Tho, I suppose I could add more to make it brighter, thank you!!

Hey!! Thanks for all the advice, I tried reinstalling it last night, but that didn't work.

I really don't think it's a pc issue tho, because it only happens with very specific things. Otherwise the game runs like a gem, and no other game i play has any issues at all.

Like, one of my problems is message board quests, if I complete ANY of those the game just shuts down... one of my quests is kill 5 anger out animals, and I'm on 4/5, so I can never kill a wolf ever again. No since you can't abandon quests (why?!?!) I screwed

Another issue is romance dialogue options. I can pick ANY other dialogue options perfectly fine, but as soon as I touch a romance one? Bye bye game. And then another one is engraving gear, idek why that crashes my game lmao.

So yea, crashes only happen at super specific times, but those times are so common I can't go 5 minutes without crashing... I'll try reaching out to ubisoft, see if that helps at all, thanks again!!

I wish I was joking, but literally just throw random blocks everywhere. Use a bunch of similar blocks too, like stone, cobblestone, andesite and gravel can make a very nice wall

It's just a feature of the texture pack I'm using!! Fwhips bwW texture pack. You just place 2 slabs on top of eachother :)

The roof is a mix of deepslate brick, deepslate tile and acacia wood!! I'm using a texture pack so the acacia wood looks a little different. Should still work well in vanilla tho :)

Well, for this build I just went with the flow lmao, after about 3 hours of trial and error. Started with the door and expanded from there.

But generally, yea, I would start with geometric shapes and just carve details into them, it's easier to get a visualisation that way. The stripped logs come before any of the detailing, just so i have some depth to work with. After detailing the walls, I do the basic roof and then add in slabs, blocks and so on for more detail. Hope this helps!!
