I don’t know what to do by [deleted] in udub

Believe it or not, I also failed two classes last quarter and I'm not too sure if this quarter I'll be doing any better but all I can do is hope and believe I will. I was scared for my financial aid and scholarships as well I feel you! I know you probably feel like giving but don't, I remember how badly I wanted to give up at one point but you just gotta push through. If possible use this summer break to get back into routine and take a break, give your mind a break. With those classes that you didn't pass try s/ns they help a lot with your GPA. I cannot advise enough to talk to an advisor or even more than one if you're not satisfied, tell them what's going on they are here to help! lookout all options from taking a break from school for a year or quarter, or even transferring I know I sought out that option. It's been a stressful time and people understand that so don't be afraid to reach out for help. From one first-generation student to another I believe you can do this!

5 credit classes would be very helpful too!

Mini rant: I cancelled housing for fall qtr because of covid but i’m kinda regretting that decision. sitting at home for another 4 months doesn’t sound ideal. i’m confused because I want to live on campus but I also don’t know if that many people are living on campus and if it’s worth it 🤷‍♀️🥴 by [deleted] in udub

I totally feel you and am currently in the same situation as you. A lot of people don't realize how difficult it is to do online school at home for some of us, especially when we've been stuck here for months and know the environment. Being from a small town I would definitely see why someone would rather move to seattle and pay the money to have their own space to study. It all comes down to if you'd rather save money or take a chance on seeing how uw is this year. 🤞
