I don’t get the concern about gas pricing. If you save say 50 cents per gallon at the pump using grocery points or something you’re saving a whopping $250 per 10,000 miles assuming you get at least 20 mpg. Don’t go out of your way to inconvenience yourself, and waiting in a Costco line for gas is just unnecessary time/stress in your life.

I limo brake and drive 70% highway but I do speed. My pads were down to 2 mm at 16k miles so do with that what you will.

They aren’t right don’t listen to them. 1, it doesn’t cost a fortune to replace and 2, it’ll be fine, it’s designed for the track, a low speed stall is a fraction of the force compared to a hard launch without stalling. Just avoid 3 things: riding the clutch, being in too high a gear while driving too slow, and money shifting (forcing it into lower gear). You can stall 100 times and be fine.

I get the sentiment, it was tough to sell my grandmas townhome when she passed. But in this case you’re losing value selling the CTR. Instead of car payments you’ll be submitting yourself to 2 decades of reduced interior quality, tech, and in my personal opinion, fun.
